I booked this restaurant as the culmination of a Birthday trip to Venice for my wife. It was absolutely amazing we entered from the canal and were escorted to the cocktail bar where we had some pre dinner drinks then on to the restaurant. The decor...More

Fine Venetian dining at its best in every sense. Beautiful food with deep flavor, exceptional service & just a draw dropping view over the lagoon. Make it your splurge lunch or at least a drink and cheese plate after 4.

It was a luxurious treat to dine and spend time admiring the entire panorama. The restaurant has a good menu and the food was enjoyable. But nothing beats the fact that the panorama is registered with you always. A mind blowing dining location with good...More

The food was perfect--ample selection of seafood and meats. Service was attentive but not rushed. The restaurant is on the top of the Danieli Hotel and, weather permitting, outdoor seating with a spectacular view of the water and surrounding Venice area. Top shelf in every...More

We have previously dined on the terrace but this time the weather let us down and we ate in the restaurant on the same level. It didn't matter, the whole experience is special. The hotel sits next to The Doge's Palace on the waterfront and...More

We visited this restaurant on 9th July to celebrate my husband's birthday. Robertio looked after us very well and gave food suggestions when asked. The ambience is outstanding and both the food presentation and taste was excellent. Portions were also very good, so much so...More

Across Europe, face it. "Breakfast" means some type of pastry and fruit and coffee and you're done-- which is probably healthier than the Whataburger sausage biscuit we're used to. But before checking out of the Danieli, we went upstairs for the breakfast buffet. It ain't...More

We had afternoon food and drinks here. The views are nice overlooking the outlying islands and the passageway for cruise ships. The prices were stupefying! $24 For a glass of wine and $33 for a sandwich. The food and service was average, nothing special that...More

Castello is the largest of the six sestieri

one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime

No doubt Danieli is very expensive. I would not wish to spend the breakfast price. To enjoy the terrace I would rather go there for dinner.

We had dinner and also Sunday brunch. They will arrange for a table for three. The earlier you get there for dinner (they open at 7:00pm), the better the chance for a table the edge with the best view.
