Taking to consideration the location, very center but starting to be a bit off the crowds the prices are simply enjoyable . Aperol /spritz 2,50, small “tapas” 1,50, while you can have spritz for 7 in the touristic locations. The place is very typical, no...More

A great bottle of wine and a superb plate of meats and cheese. Would recommend this place to have a drink pre or post dinner.

We very much enjoyed stumbling across this fantastic bar on the canal. The lovely girl behind the bar was friendly and welcoming, as was the owner. Great selection of tapas, eat and drink what you want, when you want - no pressure and CHEAP!

We stumbled across this place whilst wandering around the city. We received a warm welcome and drank some of the nicest wine I've had in a while. We chose a selection of cichetti which were all delicious. The bill at the end was a shock...More

Came across this bar while wandering around the city. Called in for a drink, very atmospheric, looks as if has remained unchanged for decades. The wine we had was excellent, and as it was early afternoon we succumbed to the cichitti: Italian tapas, so tempting...More

Charming simple inside, thank God nothing fancy, half dark, old wooden tables. Really tasty chicchetti and good wine especcially red. Chicchetti with sardines...More

I've been here twice and both times the cicchetti were great. There is a huge variety and the staff explained the ingredients to me both times (different selection each day).

Cannaregio
Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby
