We stopped here after wondering to it's general area. We stopped in because of the crowd of people outside eating and drinking. The food was great. You can pick an assortment of items and the staff is helpful and patient speaking good English. Mostly all finger food. Venetian spritz are delicious but a unique bitter taste that some might not... Cool place, different from most places in Venice. The best spritzer I have tried ever and a lot of finger food. Good prices

Everyone say Venivce is expensive, overcrowded by annoying tourists and more and more. Obviously it depends on what you look for, and if your desire is to plunge in the real Venetian's Venice this is your place. Extremely cozy, with a wide assortment of homemade 'Cicheti' and local wines too. Flawless ans sweeties girls will help you in your choice!... More

After walking around Venice all day we managed to stumble across this little place. Albeit a bit small and we had to go outside due to the lack of room, the spritz and crostini were wonderful. Cheap prices as well, definitely recommended!

One of our favourite places for a pre-dinner drink - lovely atmosphere, brilliant location, good prices, excellent cicchetti. Got it all! Plus an unbeatable view of the squero (gondola yard) across the rio. Perfetto!

Sitting here opposite a boat yard and loving the authentic Italian chicchetti and boat loads of prosecco. Not a restaurant but more of a stop off to enjoy scrumptious light bites and beautiful wine at ridiculously cheap prices. Being the only non Italian person in here speaks volumes. Bon appettito!

Divinity on a plate in a heavenly setting. A must when in Venice! Go before sunset for a traditional Venetian spritz! Looking forward to the next visit...

Staying in Dorsoduro / Accademia

Neighbourhood Profile
Dorsoduro / Accademia
Artsy is the defining mood of this neighbourhood with street artists, students, painters, sculptors, restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica buttresses the neighbourhood to the east. Gondolas bob in the morning light. The Accademia Bridge crosses the Grand Canal. A back street doubles as basketball court. Palaces house residents, or like Ca' Foscari a university, or a museum like Ca’ Rezzonico that attracts Venetians for concerts. Dorsoduro reveals its industrial roots too, in buildings converted to house university departments or exhibitions. Campo Santa Margherita bursts with youthful energy from local students. Foot traffic bustles to and from Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia train station. Evening commuters pause for an aperitivo. Neighbours exchange confidants in a campo (square) on their way to market.
