Is it strange to enjoy oriental dishes in Venice when you are tired of all these poor restaurants pretending to serve Italian food? We rather think it's a compliment to Venice's old oriental connections - and this restaurant is a sophisticated compliment!

I ate outside, the street it's on is fairly quiet and a bit off the most popular thoroughfares. The ordering is a bit unusual -- you pick how many dishes you want (two, three or five), and then you get to pick those dishes from...the menu. Drinks and Naan are extra. I went for the five dish option, which for 15 Euro is great value for the money. The portions are relatively small, but with the five dishes and a slice of Naan I was overstuffed. Service was friendly and attentive and explained everything, and the food was outstanding.More

Both my partner and I are vegan and I have a long list of foods I’m intolerant to. They were really helpful and flexible, giving me different great options. The location is nice, central but not too crowded. Nice staff, reasonable prices. Would recommend!

If you like Middle Eastern or South Asian food, or would like to try it, you will not be disappointed! The food is great, many vegan and vegetarian choices, also very clean, great atmosphere and nice decor. Reasonable prices. The lady that served me a...few times was awesome, super helpful, speaks excellent English. I highly recommend this restaurant.More

We did not have a reservation, but were welcomed very friendly. Our host helped us choose from the wide array of dishes that can be put together freely. We opted for 8 dishes for 2 people and could clearly not have eaten any more! Price...for value was fantastic, so was the food and the service. After two weeks of pizza & pasta, this was just the change we needed - highly recommended!More

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby
