Perfect to eat and relax. Staff really knew their stuff about the food and wine. Not inexpensive but worth it to sit by a quiet canal and enjoy the beauty of Venice.

I'm not sure but I don't think the chef is Italian. All the dishes we ordered had no Italian taste to us. Seems like they are made/cooked with no passion... Mixed fried fish too salty. Lobster linguine quite tasteless. Pretty good located, this restaurant is...More
Canal front location on a reasonably busy pedestrian pathway, may be some justification for high prices but nothing justifies the attitude of the wait staff (particularly "gold tie pin") who treat customers with indifference bordering on rudeness. Plates were almost dropped on the table. Actual...More
Poor service and food. Reasonable position and good outside tables and umbrellas. The waiter wasn't up to the usual Italian standard which I normally regard highly. He was perfunctory in taking the order, tried to push us into ordering more than we wanted, and slapped...More

Ate here as wasn't too far from our hotel and had a nice setting. Found it quite expensive for what it was and had much nicer pizza elsewhere whilst in venice for less. Staff seemed quite abrupt also so overall probably would not return.
After having wandered along the canals, on and off the bridges on a sunny day, a good place where to sit and recharge the batteries is always welcome. At ca Leon you can have a rest outdoors or sit in the luxurious lounge and sip...More
We sat outside for dinner here away from the crowds closer to San Marco Square and had a fantastic meal. The service is a bit abrupt but it's not as slow as many European restaurants and the food was excellent. We tried the sea bass...More
We stopped by here for lunch as the sun was out and there were tables by the canal. The restaurant itself was nice and the service was fine, but the pizzas we had were nothing special and it was one of the more expensive places...More
Wandering around Venice on a rainy night we stopped into this restaurant because it was not far from our hotel. We were very rudely greeted and seated. The waiter was very rude and inattentive. Not once did he come over to see if everything was...More
