Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Absolutely worth the wait! At Gelateria Gallonetto, the hustle and bustle only adds to the charm. Despite the crowd, the service was impressively attentive and efficient. I highly recommend the Pistachio and Crema flavors—they're truly sublime. The staff's friendliness amidst the busyness made our gelato...experience even more delightful. A must-visit for any gelato lover!More

Gelataria Gallonetto is IMO the best Gelateria in Venice. They keep each different flavour of ice cream in a different container and even use a separate spoon per container. This is really helpful if you have allergies, so as to not cause cross-contamination. My daughter...has allergies to dairy, eggs and nuts, which means that she is generally limited to non-dairy ice cream alternatives and anything that does not have nuts. May of the ice cream shops had open containers and shared spoons, which meant that there was cross-contamination of nuts and dairy in flavours that should not have nuts or dairy. The flavours of their ice creams is also exceptional. I would highly recommend visiting them during your stay in Venice.More

The best ice cream in town and one of the best ice cream I ever had was here. The service is excellent and they are very concerned about gluten .

Not to be confused with large corporate Gelato makers like Grom Gelato Gallonetto has been a part of Venice since 1985, its tiny confines necessitating take-out while prices compare favorably to more touristy shops nearby. Not a spot for piled Oreos or other nonsense, a...third generation shop serving natural flavors from metal canisters, guests will spend roughly €4 for three flavors topped with Cream and a Tuile, both Fior di Latte and Crema Veneziana attesting to a well-made base while Pistachio Smeraldo is pale green and peerless thanks to its purity and lack of added sweeteners.More

Stopped here for gelato each night. They have around 12 flavours on the board and the gelato is kept in silver canisters and not on display. There were 3 fruit flavours without milk available each day. The passion fruit was very tart (more so than...lemon) and my favourite of the flavours I tried was the chocolate fondant. Service was friendly and we were never alone in the shop even when visiting after 9pmMore

After a spot of lunch, we decided that we needed a gelato fix and found this place. It definitely did not disappoint - it was AMAZING! I had the pistachio and it was hands down the best pistachio gelato of my time in Venice, and...I eat a LOT of pistachio gelato! This place is a must go if you find yourself in Venice and you will not regret it.More

This spot serves the best amazing authentic gelato in Venice in the silver tins. Staff was friendly and this is the creamiest melt in your mouth gelato and the best I have ever had. The price is also super cheap.

Amazing! Best gelato I’ve ever had. I’m fairly certain the staff started recognized me after visiting more than once a day for a few days. Real gelato, stored in tins and covered, not a tourist trap. Very very reasonable pricing. The pistachio gelato is absolutely...divine. Line moves fast unlike Suso, stored properly unlike Suso. You will not be disappointed.More
