Good location for this hip place. Good drinks, sandwiches and pasta (tho the pasta is frozen it was tasty). Welcoming staff. Lots of magazines and other reading material. Good place to meet people.

We enjoyed our hot chocolate and cappuccino. Prices are more than correct. Just note that their tiramisu is frozen and they say it's normal when you complain about it. So they offer to microwave it 😂

Amazing coffee, wine and lunches. Staff are really friendly and welcoming. We visited here at least once a day on our trip. The sandwiches are delicious

Stopped here after a long day of walking to grab a coffee and a snack. We ordered coffee's and a biscuit each. The coffee was great and the cleanliness of the place was very noticeable. Lovely little coffee shop.

during our stay in Venice we stopped here several times: Aperetivo, Spritz, Salad and Risotto - all very nice. If you sit outside there is lots of people passing by... nice entertainment:-)

We stopped on for a drink before dinner. They feature a wide selection of wines and some beers and a variety of cocktails. Snacks are available if you wish to have a bit of food with your drinks. There is outdoor seating as well as tables inside and some comfy looking stuffed chairs in the back. Staff are friendly and... More

Great place for a lite bite or a salad . Air conditioned inside or quite picturesque to sit outside. The chef here has only a very small area to cook & doesn't have a cooker , so this would make it awkward to cook as he can only use a microwave. Panini's & toasties are fine . It's very friendly... We tried the carbonara and it was a disaster! The pasta was over cooked and that wasent the worst part!! The worst part was that the carbonara had been frozen and then reheated in a microwave! It looked like a square! Straight out of a frozen lunchbox!! Im Will never recommend this place!

Sat down, lady took my order of double espresso. When I went to pay I was surprised to be charged €3.60. For that money it needed to be the best coffee I've ever had. It wasn't. The coffee was burnt, and so was my wallet. 1/5

Staying in Dorsoduro / Accademia

Neighbourhood Profile
Dorsoduro / Accademia
Artsy is the defining mood of this neighbourhood with street artists, students, painters, sculptors, restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica buttresses the neighbourhood to the east. Gondolas bob in the morning light. The Accademia Bridge crosses the Grand Canal. A back street doubles as basketball court. Palaces house residents, or like Ca' Foscari a university, or a museum like Ca’ Rezzonico that attracts Venetians for concerts. Dorsoduro reveals its industrial roots too, in buildings converted to house university departments or exhibitions. Campo Santa Margherita bursts with youthful energy from local students. Foot traffic bustles to and from Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia train station. Evening commuters pause for an aperitivo. Neighbours exchange confidants in a campo (square) on their way to market.
