This typical bacaro is on the Cannaregio side of the Rialto bridge. Snacks (cicchetti) tend to be about two Euros each and the wine is also very reasonable. I would quite happily eat here again and again.

Found this lovely little bar only 5 minutes from the Rialto. Lots of choice with wine from 2.40 a glass! Really good Cichetti too, i had Squid stuffed with Couscous & a very tasty Arancini. Nice atmosphere, a great find, much recommended!
Wonderful little local wine bar. I mean very little. No tables, just a ledge and a few chairs. The staff and the patrons were friendly and helpful we had a few ciccheti and two glasses of wine for almost nothing! Funny signs mostly in Italian....More
