Stumbled upon this place while looking for somewhere to stop and eat lunch. It’s tucked into a little clearing (too small to really call it a square) just off a main road. Was a peaceful little spot. Some guy came buy playing accordion (and looking...for tips but was happy to tip him for the ambiance). The food was good. I had the prosciutto and melon to start—tasty, prosciutto was cut slightly thicker than I’m used to—followed by spaghetti pomodoro, which was really tasty. Thought it was slightly pricey but so are all the other restaurants in Venice. Overall an enjoyable meal with good ambiance! Recommend!More

We do eat here most visits to Venice. It is placed in a small courtyard with outside tables, nice place for a meal. Service was great, including the waiter takinf my wife's fish dish to fillet it. Great service. Cover is only 1 euro PP....My wife ordered baked sea-bass, 22 euros, I had lasagne, 12 euros. The lasagne was not to my standards, i really did not like it, it was edible, but lacked taste to me, and this is reflected in the score!! Large beer 5.50 euors, 1/4l vino 5 euros, 0.75 aqua 3.00 euros, cappuccino 3.50. We also had a salad 6 euros. I do still recommend this establishment, but maybe miss the lasagne!More

We have eaten here any times over the years and it never fails to please. Tucked away just off the main drag there are tables inside or in a small courtyard. I had baked sea bass and was earnest the waiter that this would take...approx 20 mins. No problem, at least I know another being warmed through in a microwave. Once it was ready he whisked it away to get rid of the head etc. It was very tasty and I would certainly have it again . Husband was less impressed with his lasagne, not saucy enough for his liking. Sensibly priced food and nice wine. Will we come here again? You bet.More

We visited here twice as the experience was so good! First time we had a pizza each (didn't realise how huge they were) one gluten free and one regular and there was virtually no difference. They also have a lovely gluten free tiramisu. Hospitality is...fabulous and they recognise returning customers - greeting with much appreciation. It is difficult to find gluten free pizza and tiramisu in Venice, so to have both and really good quality was wonderful. Thank you for making our visit to Venice so enjoyable!More

We stayed in the guest house - attached with this place - the food and the staff are top notch. The food is fantastic - my children are still talking about it! - can recommend Calzone, Mushroom Ravioli and Tomato pasta! Staff will doing anything...for you, our gluten free daughter was well catered for at Breakfast and Dinner. Would definitely return here and if your in Venice then make it a go too whilst you stay! Thank you all xMore

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)

transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
