We stopped here for lunch one day while walking around Venice. The restaurant was busy and it seemed to be a spot where locals were enjoying lunch. That always seems to be a good sign. It was a hot day, so we decided to eat...More

We arrived early Sunday afternoon intending to try out a tourist set-menu in a quiet location, sitting at an outside table. Malibran's front entrance is in a little square and they share their front outdoor seating with a couple of other restaurants. What isn't immediately...More

The food was great for reasonable prices. We had pizza and ravioli, the price was around 12 €. Staff is friendly a speaks English very well. The place is really calm and not far away from main touristic places. Totally recommend.

This is a nice restaurant just off a busy street in Venice. The courtyard is a great little area for a nice meal. The staff were great, very patient and helpful with the wine as the wine list is not extensive and only house wine...More

Great restaurant that won’t hurt the wallet. We walked in on a Saturday night and got a table with ease at around 9pm. Would recommend squid ink pasta - era buonissimo. House wine is also very drinkable.

Dined in many Venetian restaurants and this is by far my favourite. Good gluten free options for my fiancee and extremely tasty well cooked local food, with great service and ambience. Will always return.

Excellent restaurant off the beaten track. Came across this on a stroll around Venice and glad we stopped in. We chose to eat here as we saw a lot of locals eating there so that's always a good sign. Excellent choice of dishes and all...More

My partner and I decided to come here for dinner after reading reviews. We ordered the lobster pasta dish and a pizza... both were delicious and fairly priced. Dessert menu was pre-prepared and frozen so went elsewhere for gelato but would definitely recommend.

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby
