The place offers Free WiFi. Air-conditioning is always on: fresh air to fight the hot Venetian summer days and a nice heat in winter. All the mixtures rise naturally, in a time lapse from 72 (3 days) to 96 (4 days) hours. Thanks to that, all pizzas and flat breads are light and crunchy.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very delicious pizzas at very affordable prices with very fast and attentive staff, a small place but, if there is space, do not hesitate to dine there. There are also pizzas with a focaccia base (Pizzaccia) that look very good although we did not try them. The menu is very complete with very varied pizzas. For us, a mandatory stop in Venice.

Not for no reason 1st place for pizza in Venice. Delicious pizza bites for a very resonable price. A few different types to choose from at a time. They have also fantastic home-made tiramisu that can be served to go as well.

Great! The only thing is that I have lactose intolerance and I had to wait 1 hour until they prepare the vegan pizza, but we had a flight back home so I couldn't wait. My husband ate from the options they had at the moment and he really enjoyed. It would be good if you consider that there are people who can't eat cheese because of some health issues, so that everyone can enjoy your pizza right away (and you would have more customers).

Great pizza.
I’m usually not a fan of thicker slices but the pizza here was very good. (They do offer thin slice as well).
The location is small, and it does get quite busy (this seems to bring out the worst in some tourists lol). However the waitress did a good job of getting each customer their pizza in a timely matter. She was very kind.
I came for 1 slice and ended up getting a second they were very good lol.

Best pizza in Venice, maybe even all of Italy! They offer thick crust slices or thin crust entire pizzas to go. We had thick cut slices and their beer for lunch one afternoon, and ended up returning to take a full size thin crust pizza home for an easy dinner the next night. Both styles are delicious! Ingredients are fresh and plenty. It’s a small restaurant, so it can get very hectic, but the staff are very welcoming and kind.

It's somewhere between a pizza shop by the cut, and a regular pizzeria. Few seats, with stools and shelves, suitable for a quick meal. You can take ready-made slices or order a whole pizza with My Saves ingredients. Good pizza. High and soft dough. Friendly and fast service. Low prices, considering that we are in Venice, near Rialto.

Easily the best pizza I have ever had. Great selection of focaccias as well as freshly made to order thin traditional pizzas. I highly recommend the Pizza Carbonara, truly mouthwatering. Owners are lovely and the location is authentically charming.

We recently dined here while in Venice. The line was long but it moves fast. We choose to dine in (it is very small inside so the seating fills in quick) and it was perfect. The wine was only 4.50 euro per glass. I highly recommend the thin crust pizza, which is made fresh and takes 10 minutes, the FLAVOR was outstanding and cooked to perfection. Overall, we will be returning.

The pizzas are really good: the storefront opened well late than the indicated time, the prices have recently increased to €5.50 per slice now but despite this we loved the pizzas. Especially the one with fresh tomatoes and burrata and the one with pistachios and mortadella. So to recommend...

We followed reviews to Antico Forno & found it to be a busy, lively place- full of people eating a slice & others wait in for their take-out. The lady running front of house had amazing energy & the chefs kept a great pace with fresh pizza appearing regularly. The pizza looked thick but was as fluffy as a cloud, generously topped & delicious. We ate a slice & then ordered a take away too!

Many choices, some thin, some not. While typically a take out operation there are 8 stools one could sit on have their meal. We ordered a thin crust traditional pizza and within 10 minutes it was on our table, very friendly staff. You can tell people return here regularly.

First frightened by the thickness of the pizza dough and the lights of all colors of this little pizzeria... We decided to trust the +3000 positive reviews .. and we do not regret a second! Incredibly light pizzas, with quality products, cut in "tapas to share" mode. We were able to eat out of it on the go. We went back a second time just before we left for Bordeaux! Long live Antico Ferno!

It is well worth to cross over the Rialto Bridge from the St. Mark's Square area and try one of their huge focaccia bread pizzas! It is a rather short walk from the Rialto Bridge- ~5-7 min.. The focaccia bread pizzas are all viewable from the counter and they heat them up for you if you eat them in house. There are only around 8-10 seats available inside. It is worth to wait for a seat to enjoy your pizza. Quite a few different types available but they all look very tasty!! They also sell canned drinks here to go with your focaccia bread pizza. Well worth for a quick meal!!

We don't know what happened, no one explained. All we know is that we ordered a pizza, then 30 minutes later we ask where it is. In that time the place near empties - all those who ordered after us have come and gone. Finally, after 40 minutes sat there, the pizza arrives.
If you forget, tell us you forgot and apologise. Or maybe if someone is sat opposite you for half an hour without a pizza, you need to investigate.
They said thank you for waiting when we left, but that wasn't really enough. It was unfortunate - we have a young family at home and time was important to us.

hi, thanks for the review. I'm sorry for what happened, I spoke to Anna, the girl who served you, and she told me she was ashamed and didn't have the courage to tell you that your order had been forgotten.
I admit we were wrong and at least he could buy you a beer.
I hope I can see you again and fix it myself.
Good day.

Stumbled on the spot around lunch time. 100s of pizza places in Venice but many look like they have thin, wimpy crust. This one actually look too thick on first glance even with an awesome selection of toppings. However. Once it was baked in the oven the crust came out delightfully crispy on the outside and light and fluffy inside. Perfecto! Wish were hungry enough to eat more.

San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
