Food was on point! Outdoor seating location has a great view as well. We had ordered the Gnocchi and multiple glasses of wine. Price was one of the best we've experienced in Venice yet. Service was much faster than we had become used to in...More

Like other reviewers we wanted to get i to Zucca but it was full. This place was just over the bridge. Two primi pasta dishes were excellent - one with shrimps and mushrooms, the other with anchovies and onions - followed by two secondi dishes...More

We really wanted Zucca but they were full. We took a table inside. Was fun to watch the staff in action. But service is lacking, not once as a glass cleared from the table. Had to get seasoning from another table for my soup. We...More

This is a good place to stop for the evening, unwind, have some wine and slowly enjoy your supper...once the staff comes around to take your order. We started to wonder if we said or did something to put them off, as two or three...More

We stayed in the brilliant Al Ponte Mocenigo and were so smitten, on our first evening in Venice, that we decided to "get lost" but didn't get far, just over one bridge, in fact, when we happened upon the cozy outdoor bar seating of Trattoria...More

We had lunch here alongside the canal. The food was a hit and miss. Husband's sea bass ravioli was good, my aubergine, tomato and smoked cheese pasta bland. The service however is shockingly bad. There was one waitress at the whole restaurant. We waited 15min...More

We were heading to la zucca opposite, however it was busy so we stopped here for dinner. The view was lovely, pumpkin soup was delicious but our mains were not that memorable - the garlic spaghetti was super strong and the wine was average.

Nice location, friendly staff, and average food. It was a little overpriced for what you got. Not worth returning but it was an adequate alternative to the booked out restaurant we originally wanted.

Recommendation of our hotelier and I can see why. First of all, it was really convenient to our hotel, and the food was delicious. The trattoria is on a heavily trafficked byway so there was a lot of people watching available as well. Lots of...More

The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the
Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six

markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops
display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San
Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi)
stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San
