This no-nonsense quaint eatery has been a must-visit location every time we have visited Venice. Located behind the main drag near Rialto, you can eat some fantastic fare at very reasonable prices (evidenced by the burgeoning mob of locals ordering at busy times). They are...More

similar to a diner where you order from the counter, food is displayed but fresh dishes made regularly. the risotto was extremely tasty, there is a selection of fried dishes (arancini, croquettes etc) cheap for Venice. very authentic and popular with the locals

A vegetarian can get a meal here! We enjoyed a huge piece of fried formagio that was hot and tasty. The mixed salad came loaded with tomatoes and a variety of greens. There are tables but you order and pick up your food at the...More

Good quality and prices. Fried finger food is great. You place your order in the counter and you can takeaway what you have chosen, or sit in the tables (without paying service charge, which is great because every place in Venice has a fixed price...More

This was the best meal we had in our 3 days in Venice! It was recommended to me by an Italian friend who does food tours in the area. The locals go here for lunch - polenta with seafood is super typical. We had a...More

Very affordable and delicious local cuisine right in the heart of Venice. Beware of the more expensive restaurants near the main attractions. At Rosticceria they have a delicious variety and there were many locals having dinner there which is why we ate there. Very affordable....More

I am glad I went to this place, but it was hard to find. It is on a street off San Bartolomeo (around 15 meters away), very close to the Rialto Bridge. Delicious food at a great price: sandwiches, seafood, pasta, salad...and right next to...More

It's very hard to find a decent yet affordable place to eat in Venice, but this is one of them. Even the locals come here when they want a quick bite of something nourishing to eat. Fast service, we had the rice and pasta dishes,...More
