I have to admit that although in several trips there I have had delicious food in Italy, Venice is not always my favorite location for Italian food. The seafood is sometimes a little, well, it tastes like the lagoon. However, this restaurant was delicious. It...More

The buffalo mozzarella was good, the pasta average (huge gnocchi....). Location on a small square is nice (bring mosquito repellent if you are seated outside after 7 PM!!!)

We ordered three typical Venetian menus, but what was served by the (very friendly) staff was awful. I actually felt I could have done better with the same ingredients, though I am far from a savvy cook. Was it a bad hair day for the...More

Nice, small, local restaurant. Serving a lot of seafood. Best spaghetti vongole we have eaten. If you like to eat something else than Italien food - well go for the chicken. It is prepared thai style and very delicious. Hectic service - but no wonder...More

As the title states, just as good as it was 2 years ago. Cannot fault it, service, food, exceptional. Starters of mussels were on point, spaghetti vongole and gnochhi were to die for. Cant recommend this place enough, 10/10 once again! Grazie!

We ate here on our last night in Venice and the food was simply amazing. All of the fish was very fresh and tasty. We had the Fried Calamari to start, the Whole Wheat Salmon Pasta, Monkfish, and Red Tuna as main courses. Everything was...More

Worst service, so rude!!! They even tried to overcharge all four of us for our glasses of wine... the portions weren't large, I had to ask three times for a plate to put the balsamic vinegar on. Didn't bother to say sorry for trying to...More

We stopped by here rather late, fortunately they were still serving. Good value, lovely food, nice setting in an open square alongside a peaceful and quiet canal. Generous portions that represented good value. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous lunch immediately next to San Barnaba highlight and must visit deli Pantagruelica. Pasta and fish was fresh and tasty -- many organic/biodynamic items. Good selection of wines and nice lunch specials. Perfect outdoor space with good friendly service.

Artsy is the defining mood of this neighbourhood with
street artists, students, painters, sculptors,
restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and
heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's
collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for
evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries
cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica
buttresses the neighbourhood to the east. Gondolas bob
