A busy place, very cosy and one you must book before you go to make sure you get in. The food was very tasty and their Panna Cotta is without doubt the best you can get. The staff were very friendly and service was good,...More

My family and I were actually disappoointed. After having read all the amazing reviews this restaurant has, we expected it to have great food, but sadly it did not. The food was absolutely eatable, but I would never recommend a friend to go here. My...More

Feel welcome and looked after. The food is good, and for Venice decent value. The service is great and accomodating. Would definitely return.

We don't understand the rave reviews of this restaurant. It was hard to make a reservation, the staff was borderline surly, and the food was mediocre to poor. We did much better having a simple pizza in one of Dorsoduro's many pleasant piazzas.

Yes had a good meal at what was an old favourite of ours. Ate there on my partners birthday as usual. It was not quite as full as usual. The always very meaty fare included delicious roasted goose leg which was a treat. Though the...More

This is a tiny restaurant with giant heart and warmth. The owner and her wait-staff were top-notch, and the vibe is cozy, romantic, and inviting. The chef's excellence matched that of the service as well. The Tagliatelle Caruso and the Gnocchi were absolutely delicious. Bravo!

There are all the tangible things that made La Bitta one of my favorite discoveries during my recent trip to Venice: the cozy ambiance, the excellent food, and the more than reasonable prices (especially for Venice). As it says right on the business card, this...More

You will be greeted by the lovely Deborah as long as you have booked quite well in advance. It is not a big place but it has a lot of charm and the tables are close together but you don't get involved in neighbours' conversations!...More

I think contacting the restaurant is the only way to make a reservation. We have found that making reservations in Europe (Venice included) that the front desk staff at your accommodations will be happy to call and make... More
