This restaurant is located in one of the nicest place in Padua the so-called Prato della Valle, a big square with an island in the middle. Even if in the most touristic area of Padua this restaurant cannot be considered as a tourist trap. It is a very popular place with a lot of locals. Service is very attentive and... More

Seems everyone knows this place. Food was pretty good. The mushroom strudel was a standout as an antipasto. Service was fine, price as expected. Wide menu so a solid choice if you're pleasing a lot of palettes. Worth a stop if you're in the area around dinner.

Many typical Italian dishes , we enjoyed local meats and cheeses Try the Burrata ,a cream buttery mozzarella encased in a shell, Nice fish pasta dishes. My point. We fancied a half bottle of Valpollicella with our dessert. The waiter opened same and immediately deduced it was corked and replaced it without a query from us. Impressed!!

It is worth to be there just because of interior. That's really wonderful. Food like always was great, portion size acceptable. Waiting time not so big, so we were done with dinner within 1,5 h. We were there at very beginning, but within 20-30 minutes It was packed. SO go for reservations, probably on high tourist periods it is must.... More

This restaurant is one of historical place for dinner. You can eat a good pizza but it's better to chose a first dish with fish. The prices are not convenient but the location, in Prato della Valle and so close to S. Giustina church. Makes this place very nice and unique.

Looks like an ordinary restaurant from the outside, but the interior is impressive with marble arches and sculptures. It was a short walk from our hotel and faced the beautiful Prato del Valle in Padova. Most important was the delicious food. My dish in particular was tagliatelle with porchini mushrooms and chestnuts. Service was slow and not very organized for... More

The waiter are nice and professional. The quality of the food is very high in this famous old restaurant of PADOVA which is also the siege of FERRARI 's association of PADOVA. Pasta are wonderful, pizzas very good also. The place is quiet. I recommand spahettis with sea fruits. The decoration of the rooms is very special. It seems be... More

This was a great spot for our first meal in Padua. We sat in the terrace outside overlooking the Prato della Valle. Our meals were delicious & we thought that the prices were very reasonable €32 for pizza, pasta, 2 sides & half a litre of Cabernet. And that also included a €5 cover charge.

Restaurants in Italy can be extremely hit or miss. We've eaten at Zairo twice and been very satisfied each time. Service was typical of Italy, bill is paid at the front. Prices are not bad at all for what you get and the environment. Food has generally been something "local" using seasonal ingredients. I can't remember what I had the... More
