Very nice and attentive staff and the restaurant is cosy. We asked for a couple of courses that were not on the menu - mixed salads and pasta pomodoro for our vegetarians - and that was no problem. However the food was ok but not more. Two of us had a cheese and apple risotto that was clearly undercooked. This... More

We went here on the recommendation of Francheska who we met in chez ouillier (also very good) and the food and restaurant were fabulous. Lovely house wine, great scallops, spinach tart and veggie lasagne and apparently the meat was also superb. The staff were very welcoming and at the end of dinner put bottles of grappe etc on the table... More

A really unusual and beautifully executed array of dishes. The decor was all very in keeping. The host was very generous with an introductory glass of wine, amuse bouche, and liqueur to end the meal. At the Mt Blanc end of town it is certainly worth the 10 min walk.

Brilliant atmosphere great food friendly staff. Everyone enjoys going to this laid back traditional looking restaurant which prepares foods with a modern twist. Great wines to.

The place is ok. The deer meat was lovely and I do recommend it. But the overall service (slow and sometimes superficial), the quality of the other dishes (desserts, pasta) and the price paid were not in line with the raw material quality (meat). Probably it is very good for pure meat lovers.

After reading the previous reviews on TripAdvisor we have chosen this restaurant because of the intriguing dishes. We were four people with three kids who were neither too noisy nor too silent...We have been welcomed with a glass of local white wine (always an appreciated and friendly way to welcome customers), and a large spoon with fonduta (for the kids)... We arrived in Courmayeur around 1930 in search of a different restaurant, ended up not being able to find that restaurant in the dark but saw Al Camin at the end of a small street, took a look at the menu and were completely hooked - charming area, local products, and professional staff. Very welcoming, helpful, and generous. Numerous daily... More

A very nice restaurant. Local food and super service. We had local trout tartar and deer-on-the-grill .... finishing with lemon sorbet. Real fresh, and excellent wine - Barbaresco☺ . Strongly recomended!!!!

We were welcomed into a lovely downstairs room where our reserved table for 7 was waiting and immediately given a free half litre of house white and an amuse bouche of soup. Service from there was very good, though a bit theatrical, and the staff explained all the specials in English. We had a young boy with us and the... More

Third visit in last 4 years, we had again high expectations. And we were not disappointed. Try chateaubriand signature dish. And leave some room for desert. Wines are great, including house wine. Good value for money. We hope to be back soon!
