Enjoyable experience, very good (raw) fish, friendly staff, interesting historical building. I look forward to go again when next in Turin. Panna cotta with chestnuts was delicious. Good wine list. Absolutely recommended.

My host went for so true noodles I have never tasted ad I chose the fish. I never had as many and as much and as delicious sea food in my life before. On top of that the ambiance of old furniture, high roofs and dim lights made it amazingly Italian mood with nice Sicilian sweet at the end. Then... More

My friends and I had a dinner in this particular restaurant serving fish with menu changing every day depending on what "fished"! Our waitress was super nice and gave nice suggestions, I chosen as starter their antipasto eight small antipasti degustation, and gnocchi with fish and artichoke delicious, accompanied by an well suggested wine! The place remember the old cantina,... More

Best fish restaurant ever in Torino: Simple atmosphere completed by best fish dishes ever! Size of appetizers perfect to go on by testing main courses and dessert. Wines and prosecco amazingly perfect. Not ordinary recipes, delicious tastes, that you will never forget and probably hard to compete with for other restaurants. Great if you come to visit the town but... More

This is a must in Torino! Great fish, menu changed daily based on arrivals and prices definitely not high for the quality you get! Nice place for couples as well as for a group of educated friends who want to enjoy a very exquisite dinner! You can t go wrong!

This fish restaurant is a delight from the moment you enter the door and encounter knowledgeable and helpful staff in surrounds that are truly authentic. There is much attention taken to the detail but in such a way as to evoke someone's home. The food is simply wonderful. We had whole seabass filets slowlly cooked then flash roasted to create... Lovely staff and super food (fish) served up in what appears to be someone's back room - this is not your typical restaurant! But the fact that it is usually fully booked by locals says it all - this is authentic Italian dining.

This restaurant keeps a low profile on a little street off the Via Po. The food is so good that it really doesn't need to shout about it. We noticed that most of the diners (it was very busy - so reserve) were locals. This is always an infallible pointer to excellent food. The surroundings are homely and comfortable and... More

Mare Nostrum presents as a very unassuming place - on a side street off Via Po by the river. Don't be put off by the cover of the book. Inside is an exceptionally friendly staff and a meal that is on par with some of the best sea food that we've had. The menu changes daily to reflect what is... More

Mare Nostrum is an excellent restaurant, with a warm atmosphere, great staff and unforgettable food. I've been here many times and last night it was again very satisfying. For the first time I haven't had their specialty, the selection of antipasti, but I had a very good pasta and the "fritto di paranza" was just A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Good selection of wines... More
