Whilst no aircon there was a fan, but the food was lovely and inexpensive. It was full of locals and although only a Tuesday evening it filled up fast. dad and I had wild boar, whilst tasty was not as tender as it... Best al ragu I have tasted! Good prices. Very busy but they still managed to fit us in.Great part of town with bars on same street which you can go to after dinner.

I know a little Italian and could have gotten by with it, but the server also knew English, which was a bonus. The food (and wine) prices were great. I ordered... More

Food is delicious, service is good and the prices are very fair. It's a traditional ''trattoria italiana'' where you can eat fresh food.

That was OK with us, We hit a small local bar down the street while we waited. The food and service were good we had a first and second... More

We were looking for another restaurant nearby this one but found it closed... Firstly we doubted a bit if lunch here (advertised as Tuscan cuisine and we were most interested in Piedmontese) since there were no other opened restaurants 2-3 blocks away unless the ones located by the Mole grounds but we wanted to avoid those touristy ones so decided... I was there 3 weeks ago and it was good experience for me. Trattoris Ala is cosy, nice and warm place. You can find delicious Italian foods with reasonable prices. Also local wines are great too. Highly recommended!
