This is a charming place to have a drink before dinner (an aperitivo). Just order a drink at the bar and then when you're finished, pay at the cash register behind you. While you are drinking, snack on the sumptuous foods they have on the bar. Their Negronis are the best I've had in Italy!

This seemed to be a place where the "old Turin" went. They were of a certain age mainly, well dressed, well groomed and well mannered. The exterior is beautiful and a slice of history and the interior is really classical. The staff are suitably charming, well mannered and "proper". There were lovely little tasters on the bar and service was... More

This historic bar is one of the most beautiful cafè and restaurants in Turin. We went for breakfast. Excellent choice of well priced and delicious pastries. Excellent coffee. Really nice, friendly, fast service.

Fresh pastries, awesome hot chocolate and coffee is how most know Platti during the day. Come for a glass of wine or beer in the early evening and you are treated with amuse-bouches (assortment of canapés) ranging from smoked salmon, potato salad, chicken salad and mini-brioches included in your wine price. The decor is of an old cafe (authentic) with... More

This is a historical caffè torinese. Actually the coffee, aperitivi and pastries are nothing impressive, though they're OK. Don't stay outside, go and seat inside and enjoy one of the most elegant salons and rococo ceilings you can find in a coffee place.

Arrived in Turin early afternoon and went looking for somewhere for lunch. Found platti immediately ordered two spritz and sat down. Half an hour later they arrived via cranky waiter after serving several other people who arrived after us. Asked about lunch was told kitchen closed but we could have a small pre made sandwich. When paying for the bill,... More

Looks more expensive then it is. Nice interior, great coffee, perfect location. It feels like you seating somewhere in Paris.
