We booked here for a celebration dinner and couldn’t have made a better choice. The food looks beautiful and tastes delicious, reinventing traditional dishes in really imaginative ways. Make sure you try the “Russian Salad”. There were also lovely touches such as complementary amuses bouches...and petits fours and great breads. The wine list has great wines at surprisingly reasonable prices. Service is friendly and helpful.More

This is a really excellent upmarket eating place. Prices are slightly above average, but it is well worth it, and the presentation of the food suggests that the chef has an art department! He came out to receive compliments at the end of the meal....Helpings are not too huge, so it is safe to have an anti-pasta as well as a main course.More

What a delight our night was! From the moment we stepped in the door for my partner's Birthday dinner we felt exceptionally well looked after by all staff who took their time to describe the food with care, kindness and good hunour. They went out...of their way to offer suggestions both meal-related and for places to visit in Turin. Valentina and her staff guided us through the meal beautifully offering excellent wine choices. The food itself was elegant, delicious and creative, each dish had us excited to explore. Diago the head chef and Valentina's husband visited each table during the night which was lovely. We both thoroughly enjoyed our experience and highly recommend!More

Outstanding dishes and great product quality (suitable also for celiac people). Service is very welcoming and elegant, particularly Martina is keen to share her exceptional knowledge of wine and spirits and is always attentive to make sure guests enjoy the experience. Would definitely recommend to...anyone living in or visiting Torino!More

We just finished the most incredibly divine dinner! Started with Gnochetti with crab and deer macaroni with pumpkin cream. Entrees were veal shank with a red wine reduction with just a hint of licorice and my husband had the best duck leg ever with chestnuts...and spring onions. Honestly one of the best meals ever anywhere. DO NOT MISS IT!More

The two young chefs have created a truly innovative menu. Their unique approach to the dishes and an amazing partnering of ingredients result in wonderful tasty surprises. I recommend multiple visits in order to sample most of the dishes. Then, there is the tasting menu...as an alternative.More

In contrast to one of the reviewers recently we had a fantastic meal. Paparedelle with lobster, mozzarella, beans and onions was outstanding. Veal was excellent, as was the guinea fowl, and peach tart was excellent. The wine list is excellent and very reasonably priced, and...service was friendly. Overall an excellent meal and I would thoroughly recommend it.More

We went here on our last night in Turin. I love authentic cooking, but sometimes feel like eating something special. Based on the reviews here I was expecting a fine dining experience, but was sorely disappointed. The first problem was the extremely hot temperature in...the locale- it was utterly unbearable, and the server had my sympathy in her black suit. We were seated right by the wine fridges. The free welcome glass of Prosecco (well, half glass if we're honest;-)) was a nice kick-off, as were the lovely hors d'ouvre shaped like dessert pastries. The Aubergine mousse in saffron sauce (I think it was meant to be foam) amuse bouche was not pretty but delicious. Then: I had the sturgeon starter, and this was just average. The fish was over-cooked and not standout in any way, and the pea sauce was just ok. There just wasn't much flavour to be found in any of it! The accompanying homemade breads were a treat, but I didn't want to ruin my appetite so just tried one. I then had the pork filet, which was unfortunately dry. I liked the flavour of the coffee bean crust. Eaten together with the pea mash and the bits of sauce dotted on the plate it was hard to choke down however, and I didn't finish it. The other main was a veal 'steak' but was really just a piece of veal, of an unidentifiable cut, and although still slightly pinkish waaaay too chewy. The accompanying forest berry sauce was not delicate or nuanced enough and tasted rather like jam. We ended the meal there as we couldn't stand the heat any longer. The service was good as long as we were one of the first 2 parties seated, but then rapidly disintegrated into barely basics. I refilled our water glasses myself, and had she come to ask about our experience after we'd started our mains we both would've complained about the meat. She didn't enquire about our satisfaction after the meal either, but we were so anxious to leave the stifling atmosphere that we paid and left. Had the restaurant climate been bearable we would've gone for the tasting menus, but considering the stifling heat those weren't an option for us. On the previous days we had been randomly having lunch and supper where we felt like, and gotten lucky each and every time. It really wasn't worth booking Piccolo Lord in advance, and all in all I wouldn't recommend it to those looking for a exquisite dining experience or return here on a next visit.More

We had a dinner with friends, the food was good quality and presented well - most of the waiting staff was pleasant and well educated, However the (female) Maitre was arrogant and not up to the level that the restaurant prentends to be at. While...fortunately we didn't see a lot of her, the few interactions were unpleasant, she kept filling up wine glasses and had an overall air of being to good to be there.... let alone to talk to our table... oh... and the kitchen is open so our coats smelled when leaving...More
