We dined in two at Le Fanfaron, and took the menù course: starter, main and second dish for 26 euros is an excellent price. The starters were really excellent, and so were the pasta dishes. After such an amazing beginning, we were really looking forward to the second dishes (cutlets- cotolette, and pig's leg - stinco di maiale), but these... More

This restaurant is at the beginning of Via Garibaldi, one of the main Shopping street in Turin. The place is very well decorated, the service is very thoughtful and the menu more than tempting! A lot of cheese specialities, half way between Italian and French culture (raclette!). I would say that the place is perfect for any occasion: romantic, family,... More

Excellent service and delicious food in the middle of Turin. I just couldn't cope with the full portion of wild boar stew and polenta but that was fault for having had a big starter first..

Excellent food and service. Waiter explained all the dishes to us in English. Not disappointed in any way. Had pasta and simple side salad. Fresh bread and yum desert. Go there!!

The raclette was too salty for me to enjoy. The starter portions were a bit small. It was very hot inside. And the owner is a bit brusque at first. That being said, the beef stew was simply amazing, as if your grandmother had lovingly cooked it all day long just for you. And the homemade flan for dessert was... More

We learned a weird way to find out if a place is a neighborhood independent -- if the staff don't speak much English (our language), you're in a place that caters to locals. That's this place. It features classic and traditional Piedmontese food, with a nice... More

The food is of very high quality with nice combination of ingredients, the orders are quickly delivered. The place is small, so you have to be ready to be close to nearby tables. The Service is not the most friendly, a bit in a hurry in my opinion, but acceptable.
