We were looking for something different and found it! The only problem was the queue outside for tables. I asked una tavola per due perfavore? I was told sorry unless we sat at the bar! Well the bar seats were very comfortable and we had a grandstand seat on Saturday night. The place was heaving, Milanase eating out on Saturday... More

Looking for food at 1am in this neighborhood? This is your place. Nice Saturday night crowd. Friendly staff Great selection of food items and specialty treats to help differentiate them. Fast service and reasonable prices. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is that as an obvious tourist, I could have used some help in choosing something uniquely special... More

Trendy, popular and very impressive. Surprised by the average reviews, our experience was fantastic, great waiting staff, four different in total (everyone friendly and attentive), food was brilliant, good value for money, we wandered in for lunch and by the end of the meal decided to return for dinner, it was a good decision and we enjoyed our experience.

Service is very lacking. There are a couple of nice waiters but the waitress we dealt with was rather cold. She then proceeded to drop cutlery on my mother and was not apologetic at all. Not impressed. Also it is kind of annoying to speak to her in fluent Italian and then be treated like a tourist with English replies... More

Dear William, we deeply apologize for what happened with our waitress during your visit. We would like to assure you that such situation are uncustomary for our team, usually appreciated for kindness and accuracy in service. We are investigating the matter with the restaurant General Manager in order to avoid this from happening again in the future. We do really... More

I am Italian and was speaking English to my English partner. So I got the English menu and tourist treatment. The menu says slow food. The same goes for the service. I ordered 7 euros worth of courgettes and mozzarella with pine nuts. I got half a small courgette sliced as thin a paper and stuck into the tiny blob... More

Wanted an early evening meal after a full day of sightseeing; kind of tough to find as Italians are late diners by American standards. Wandered into this place on our way to catch the tram and have zero regrets. Cool vibe, quiet, uncrowded and great food. Hubs had lasagna that he loved and I had homemade mozzarella burrata and fresh... More

Always pretty full, and the concept of serving multiple variants of mozzarella and various Italian hams is quite intriguing. The best is to book a table in advance. Prices is ok.

It's a pretty lovely place. If you're cheeseholic - you'll definitely enjoy it - different sorts of burrata, mozzarela and ham as well. Service was a bit slow but not too bad. Excellent for lunch time.

This was a fun and different dining experience. The food is delicious and it was so fun to try many different types of mozzarella. All the antipasti were so flavorful! From the olives to the salami to of course- the star of the show- the cheese- everything was fresh and tasty! The pasta was good too and the presentation of... More

Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
