A Milan institution, worth the visit. Very good high end Italian food, including a fantastic taglione with cabbage, black truffle and truffle sauce and pigeon dish with fois gras. Very good wine list. Attentive service. Ambiance would use from dimmer lighting and softer background music. It is a bit out of the way to get there but worth the visit.

In this restaurant everything is at the top of anybody's expectations: first of all the quality and the presentation of food (I had fish courses) is exceptional. But you will enjoy a discrete and perfect service, a wide wine list and a quiet and elegant athmosphere. I really could not find anything below the rating exceptional. If you happen to... More

A very disappointing meal. There must have been a significant change in the restaurant , I wonder if the chef has left ? That must be the case as the quality was nothing like as has been described. This is no longer Michelin quality restaurant. Perhaps the Chef has another venture opening ? A sad evening for us.

Sadler is a 2 Michelin star restaurant which, despite the illustrious name of the streets, sit in an ugly area of Milan quite off the beaten track. The "creative" tasting menu is what my guest and I had, and each course was a work of art. However, there was simply not much food. The purpose, I think, was to experience... More

Excellent food even though I am not a fan of fine dining. I was recommend there and it was a very nice atmosphere. I recommend the private table for 2 or 4 which is very nice for a romantic and quiet diner. Service was outstanding with great staff.

It was a birthday dinner for my sister. We were 4 of us and had the tasting menu with meat and fish. The price was reasonable €160 for dinner. The atmosphere in the restaurant was too dark. I was disappointed that the food is not as good as I expected it to be.. 2 Michelin stars! The food presentation was... More

If this was our first time we would probably be very impressed. However having frequented Sadler a number of times, unfortunately our most recent visit was disappointing. We felt it had lost its 'wow factor'. Dishes were more simple than they used to be and the service lacking what you would expect from a Michelin restaurant. We were given Asparagus... More

Good cuisine but far away from two Michelin stars. Elaborate dishes but not prepared to inspire. This leads a nice but grossly overpaid dinner experience. Best part of the dinner was the wine thanks to an exceptional sommelier.

Sadler is a landmark in Milanese cuisine. The two Michelin stars confirm the vocation to haute cuisine and the continuous desire to experiment. The creative menu is simply fantastic: baby squids filled with cod, crunchy chick peas fritters and sour broccoli, ravioli filled with trevisan salad and taleggio cheese, slightly sour goat milk and toasted hazelnut powder, grilled artichokes and... This finely furnished restaurant now is divided into four smaller intimate spaces with an elegant and modern atmosphere, ideal for romantic dinners as well as for business lunches; one of these, with a direct view onto the wonderful kitchen area, is separated from the others, thus offering maximum privacy for 6 to 12 guests. This open space restaurant offers a great cuisine where Claudio Sadler confirms once again his passion for quality food and attention for details.
