Make the effort to find it. Walk in through the door and plea for a table. They are so accommodating in what YOU want to eat and on portion size. We came out replete! Wines very reasonable and excellent service.

I have been coming to this restaurant since I have been a little kid. I really find this place one of the top place to eat fish in Milan. Super high quality and fresh fish. You will love it.

Good food with a varied menu and very friendly service. We had mixed starters with very good fish and then a mix of pasta, risotto and sea bass. Good choice of wines. Bathrooms in need of some (a lot) of modernisation.

If you want fish while visiting Milan....THIS is the place to go. It is NOT for people looking for a bargain but it is worth every euro.

The atmosphere is simple in this Brera located restaurant. Servers have been working here for years and know every detail. You can have a number of good fish plates from appetiser to main course with a large selection of home made desserts. Start with a "misto mare caldo" it is excellent.

I have been a client since the restaurant was on the opposite side of Via Ciovasso. Fish is well selected and cooked properly ...when it requires cooking.... One of my favourites is the Crudite' (Raw fresh antipasto Scampi, Clams, etc) , the boiled Antipasto Being allegic to garlic I've never tasted the gratinee (cooked Antipasti) but all my guest seem... We were recommended this place by someone from Milan. Oh dear -she couldn't have sent us to a more ungracious place. #1 - the owner did not speak English and could not have been more dismissive of us; #2 - we asked for wine by the glass and got a bottle (it was decent wine however everyone else got decent... The place is really difficult to find, the entrance is hidden so well that Inwalked past it twice before being able to see it, actually my host came out to tell me that I had reached the place. This is a fish restaurant, Milan is the fish capital of Italy, so fish is really great here. We had it raw... More

Honestly this was the best seafood I have ever had. From the salmon to the calamari to the assortment of fish. They have a wide variety of items and the wine selection was terrific. They also have a great pasta dish made with mussels and shrimp. They really pack on the mussles. Also there appetizer plate was amazing had plenty... More

Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
