We were staying at the nearby Andreola Central hotel and within a half block we found this gem with delicately designed but generously priced desserts. It became and afternoon tradition with us and they are open till 8 or so except Sunday.

visited the shop twice. Staff are helpful and friendly. The food is fine though the selection is limited. We enjoyed sandwiches and pastries which are probably a little expensive e,g 5 euros for soup. The shop has seats for about 12 people and you can feel cramped.

Run by the family, this is a charming stop for breakfast, brunch, lunch and aperitivi. Their pastries (including croissants and pain au chocolat) are all homemade and delicious. Their cappuccino's may be topped with chocolate powder or liquorice powder and are delicious. Small quaint (and very clean) inside area where you can calmly and tranquilly sit in a window seat... We had a hard time finding a place in Milan that would be open on Sunday in order to have a decent breakfast, but Rovida was amazing. Everything that we ate was extraordinary, definitely you should try the croissants with cream and jam!

Don't look any further : Rovida is the best pasticceria in Milan ! I can't say what my favourite plate is. Everything is really delicious. All the people who work there make their best to make you feel home. According to all friends of mine Rovida's croissants are the best. And I agree!

I read so much good about this place. So I went to have a coffee break there. I stayed in the hotel a crossover of the street. They have best cappuccino in town and a big choice of bakery. You can order sweet or salty. You should definitely go there if you are waiting in the Milan central station, it's... More

Rovida is one of my top 3 favorite coffee shops/bakeries in Milan!! The homemade sweets and lunch foods are a delicious treat, and the coffee is the best around. The staff is friendly and courteous. I enjoy going to Rovida everyday. It's a place you must try!
