This place is centrally located next to a metro exit. I went inside after craving gelato and happened to pass by. The gelato is decently priced - €2.50 for the smallest portion which was pretty big (two flavours included). The flavour selection was pretty good, but the gelato was nothing special according to my subjective opinion.

It is really easy to access a good gelato in Milan & Gelateria Venezia should not be the one you go look for one. Just because it is at the metro exit & has a big store it attracts people but believe me, the taste is nothing better than average. If you wanna have a real good experience, walk 10... More

I'm actually super surprised to come on here and see bad reviews! The staff were incredible! So helpful and lovely to chat too. They explained things to us Aussies who didn't really understand how the whole "self service" Italian style worked and even gave some great recommendations on the ice cream flavours. I loved the ice cream and they had... More

Visited Gelateria Venezia yesterday afternoon for a refreshing treat on a hot spring day. It was busy; long line up of customers. Despite the crowd, the service was quick and outdoor seating available. The selection of flavours is ample. They offer a gelato "mouse" which apparently has a softer, more fluffy texture, and more costly. My friend and I each... More

A real tourist trap. The quality of ice cream is terrible, but the owners seem not to care as most people come once as they are tourists. My friend even got sick eating one of the Sicilian desserts, the ricotta probably went bad. The position is really good and I guess that is why they are still open. Don't spend... More

From the coffee to the ice cream, everything they offer here is amazing. We stayed in the hotel around the corner and went here for our breakfasts. The coffee is really good, the croissants are tasty, warm and fresh and in the evening we even went here for an ice cream, which was just as you'd want from an Italian... More

The ice cream is great (so great we came back for it the next day too). But the food is really not worth the while - we ended up here just because everything else was closed and they had real cheap pasta (4,50 per meal)... The location and the atmosphere are also not worth mentioning, so - just grab a... More

We sought some sweet distraction after a disappointing dinner nearby. We chose to avoid the much more expensive if better-tasting Grom up Corso Venezia and tried this. Ice cream was average, if nothing special. 4 Euro for a mid-size cup are a bit on the expensive side, acceptable given the location. We were asked to pay and get our receipt... More

Yes. Just went there, ordered my ice-cream, the lady behind the counter started to prepare the ice-cream, asked what I wanted, I repeated it, and when I got it, it was not what I had ordered. Should have watched her when she prepared it. Very disappointing and as a regular visitor to Milano, this was the last time to go... More

Excellent fresh made ice cream at Porto Venezia, a lively neighbourhood where you can feel the vibe of Milano.
