We managed to miss the lunch hour when most restaurants are open so we had little choice but what remained open. Colonial Cafe is probably good for what it is but it's just a cheap eatery. Accordingly the food was very average, kinda frozen entree. It would constitute a good meal only if starvation was the alternative. The service was... More

Good wine, server knew no English, but that's ok we knew very little Italian. Had a good assortment of snacks; bruschetta, lasagna, prosciutto, cheeses, salad etc. A glass of wine and good music!

We stopped into this cafe and bar for snacks before our late afternoon reservation to see Leonardo's Last Supper at the Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie. Very friendly service. Reasonable prices. Eclectic decor. Full of locals. The birra alla spina and focaccia sandwiches and cafe and pastries totally hit the spot. Would have wanted to come back for happy... More

We went it because we wanted to buy water. Yes....odd... but anyways, bought our waters and looked at their menu of different beans. Had an espresso. It was done right and tasted good. The staff didn't speak much english but it would be ignorant for me to expect them to speak english. All in all, it was a good quick... More

Went for lunch with a friend about 12:30 ( before the main lunch hour) Her first choice was already gone, so she asked for a salad instead. I ordered the chicken. The less than pleasant waitress informed us the chicken was gone, and suggested the fish. ( still before PM and already out of two dishes) I said OK. 20... More

Stopped at this cafe for coffee each morning during a stay in the neighborhood and enjoyed the warm, cozy interior. The espresso drinks were good; never tried the food, but it looked good. The staff were friendly, and the free wifi had strong signal.

This café is my favourite in Milan so far.. the decor, ambience, brioche and particular coffees and teas you can't get anywhere else. The staff are cool too. Love it!

We stumbled upon this cafe just before we were attending our Last Supper viewing. We only ordered drinks, but it had lots of lovely pastries on display too. Unfortunately we did not have time to try any. The cafe has a lovely interior with sofas and tables.

We popped in here for a couple of drinks, Unknown to us at the time in was during apperetivo or happy hour. 16 euros for two very nice, large red wines plus a help yourself to some tasty selections of buffet food. Nice inside and on the two occasions we visited the place was very very busy, always a good... More
