We had dinner and we couldn't manage the second course. Antipasto and then first course had us both in need of a good walk to digest a magnificent meal. Good honest Italian seafood on offer. Menu and staff were Italian and so some difficulties with language, but, very friendly and helpful service and superb flavours. Mid range price point

Very few other diners the night we were here in late June. My wife had a great fresh amberjack in a fig and honey sauce - sounds strange but was amazing. I enjoyed frutti di mare pasta, and the kids liked their pasta alla vongole. We felt lucky that we happened upon this place, which is in a busy corridor... More

We stayed last weekend at Hotel Spadari Al Doumo at Via Spadar. Hilly recommended. Walking the street I notice the green sign "Pascheria Spadari" As i love fish and seafood very much I entered in side. In a wide vitrina I sow all kind of various fish seafood prawns squid and oysters. All neat and very tidy. In the other... More

Only place where you can order off the menu any fresh fish available. Excelent oyster Selection. The staff is always helpful and willing to go that extra mile to meet your requests. Feels like home, great also for solo dinner. Dont expect a romantic atmosphere, but to have this price/quality for the food you will lack some other qualities ^_^

We went for dinner hoping to get excellent seafood, as indeed they are one of the great fishmongers of Milan. Well, they should just do that... Starters were OK with a excellent octopus and some less remarkable marinated fishes (anchovies, and salmon). A pasta dish was OK, bit not spectacular. And then here comes the fish. I chose a fresh jackfish... More

No English menu here. We ordered using our Google translator and seeing what others ordered. Had a pasta and fried seafood combo. Both good and seafood combo really shines. Squid, prawns, small and tiny fishes were lightly battered and fried with a slight crisp. Pasta was plain but well cooked. Very casual dining here where you order and pay at... More

We had dinner one evening and lunch the next day. (You can't reserve for lunch, but if you join the queue at about 2 pm you won't have to wait too long. A decent piece of fresh fish plus chips or a salad, some bread, fresh fruit and a glass of wine costs about 15 euros.) The choice for dinner... More

This local place is a fish market as well. It is very small, so go early, or make a reservation. Their forte is fish, and it is very fresh. You can buy the wild caught whole fish at a per milligram rate. One whole fish is plenty for 2 people. This unassuming spot serves very well done seafood and while... More

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
