Very cosy and busy, full of locals. Very good deals for less than €11. I recommend the lasagne and the smoked beef platter. Friendly waitress and quick service. Free wifi as well.

When we walked in to the restaurant we didn't expect much. However, the food, wine and service was fare better than most restaurants I have been to in Milan. This is the advantage of a family restaurant! We will definitely be back!

I ordered a "costata" and this was by far the best and cheapest meat I ever ordered. The only problem was the quantity: twice as big as a normal portion! But it was so good and perfectly cooked that I won't complain for that. The staff was also very friendly and I've been very rapidly served

My boyfriend and I was looking for a pizza restaurant near our hotel(Starhotel echo) so decided to try this place. The reviews on TripAdvisor are right, the atmosphere is amazing, our waiter was so nice and friendly and helpful to us even though we couldn't say a word in Italian. Our pizzas were so tasty, sadly we couldn't finish them.... More

We went to Al Buon Umore on a Trip Advisor receommndation - and were not disappointed. As other reviewers have commented, friendly owners, and fantastic pizzas. The house wine (we later realised) is the local Lombardy wine, very light in body, slightly frizzante, and a little sweet - so of you want something with a little more body etc try... More

Not situated anywhere you'd expect - our hotel was in a strange series of backstreets near the station, so we went for a wander and found this - and are glad we did. Small, welcoming, traditional, no pretensions. Our antipasti were huge - 2 types of cheese, deep-fried battered courgette flowers, salami, prosciutto, olives and 3 types of bread. Then... More

We've been walking around our hotel, tryin' to find some nice and authentic place - this small restaurant offered to us really large homemade pizza and very kind service. Price isn't high, and food really worths every euro you'd spend here ;)

I travel to Milan at least 3/4 times a year (sometimes more) for work and I will never forget my first visit here. This restaurant is run by an Italian family and some of their friends, and you feel this as soon as you walk in when the restaurant owner/waiter/chef and all-round host extraordinaire, Ricardo, greets you with a smile.... If you like good food and plenty of it this is the place! Not a dressy place very relaxed and inexpensive. Lunchtime menu had english but not evening-I recommend you take the chance as its delicious here. Despite not speaking Italian we were even able to get some banter with the friendly staff.
