Service and food were top-notch. From the complimentary prosecco to the ending lemoncello and grappa, we felt taken care of. The fried dough appetizer with cultello ham and truffle honey is a must (and I usually don't eat fried foods). The tiramisu is also amazing. We liked it so much, we booked again for our last night in Milan.

We have visited Nerino Dieci after a 2-years break again. And it was even better than the last time. Fantastic food, excellent service, prices more than fair. We were there on Monday evening and then again on Tuesday, regretting we cannot stay longer in Milan to try out more of their menu. Everything was extremely tasty and fresh. Appetizers, first... I didn't know this place but my daughter and a friend of mine spoke so well about this restaurant that I really wanted to try it. When I asked for a reservation , I was told that it was fully booked for the date but I decided to go there all the same ; I spoke to Sandro and ,... More

This was the most delicious meal I have had. Seafood was superb and staff excellent. Best to book but we got in on a timescale but everything including the welcome prosecco and endless bread and garlic bread supply was superb. Must for a visit.

We had the fresh tuna coated in pistacchio which was excellent. And a couple of really good condiments. For the dessert a lovely pannacotta with fresh berries and a créme brule that was okey (a little bit too much taste of cream). House wine at a very good price was good too. Nice setting with an open kitchen. The only... More

Perfect restaurant to explore authentic italian food, in a wonderful italian setting, that combines the feeling of a trattoria/ osteria with that of a modern restaurant. It is also located just some 10mins away from piazza duomo, so consider it if you are looking for something with an authentic feel in the area. Everything we tried was great and of... More

Nice and cozy place. Good representation of Milanese character which still remains italian in its tradition while striving to be one of the world cosmopolitan capitals. Food is tasty, good selection of wine, service is friendly and not annoying.

Very good food, and friendly service. Lovely risotto and veal Milanese, very family friendly. Gets busy so you must book well in advance.

Having been eating around the city center, this restaurant is cheap by comparison. Yet it is only ten minutes walk away from Duomo. The lady that served me was very friendly. The mussels were divine. The fish was nice. I could have chosen a better second course, but i still enjoyed it. Garroupa was what I opted for. Ambience was... More

We read about this on an inflight magazine on the way to Milan. We thought we'd give it a go and eventually found it thanks to Google maps! They were booked up but had a table the following night that but needed it back by 9pm. Not a problem. Very friendly and lots of good food. Good advice on menu... More

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
