Locally run, traditional. Simple quality food. A must if in area as it's where the locals will go. Good for kids too

I had the prix fixe for lunch and it was delicious, the day I was there I chose lasagna to start and then a meat dish, very reasonable prices.

My husband and I first visited this restaurant 2 years ago. It was the only thing we could find open close to the Science Museum. It was so memorable two years ago that we visited again today with our 11 year old grandson, and the food was a 10/10 once again. It is also the service that shines here. The... More

We've been here for a short stop to have a quick snack. We were served medium sized noodles caprese and rice with vegetables for just 5,50€...very tasty! And the best thing? No tourists instead of us, just local people having their Lunch! Great atmosphere!! :)

Local pizza and pasta place. Food was good, lots of local business people there for lunch. No other tourists were there.

I went there with my family yesterday, after visiting Science Museum. Staff don't speak English, but they are quite friendly. I ordered Spaghetti alla Carbonara, Penne with Salmon and Rissoto for children. All food had plenty of oil / fat, my carbonara looked like pasta with oil sauce, totally disgusting! My children and I couldn't eat our meals... Service charge... More

What a pleasant surprise! My girlfriend and I popped in here just refresh after a long day walking around Milan deciding we'd only have a coffee before heading back to the apartment. We were utterly charmed by the owner, who speaks perfect English, so ended up having some wine and a light snack both recommended by him. Lovely experience and... More

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
