First time visit to Milan, we decided to try Bellavista Café for our evening meal. It was near our Hotel (Hotel Star) and was recommended by our hotel and it was excellent value and very tasty food, I had spaghetti carbonara and my partner had pizza calzone, It was great to see many locals eating here (always a good sign),... Reasonably priced place. Plenty of room but still quant. I had a pizza and my husband a risotto. Both very nice indeed. We were offered a liqueur before leaving, which is always a nice touch. The waiter and waitress were very efficient, yet quite happy to chat to us. Big thumbs up.

Cute cafe to chill a little bit during the walk aroung Milano. It is not far away the center, nice location at an old street. Nice personnel, good snacks. cold beer. I asked for a wifi password and I got it, but I failed to connect. In other things - nice!

My class was on a school trip in Milan and throughout the day we got hungry. The centre of Milan was offering a lot of typical Italian restaurants and pizzerias but all of them were quite expensive for students. After 20 minutes of looking for a restaurant with reasonable prices, we found this place. Once we entered, we noticed the... More

We went there by chance - and were very happy about it. My risotto with saffron & salsicia was delicious. My wife's pizza bianca excellent too. Only prawn salad bit a miss - but I expected that seeing that place clearly prepares very interesting pasta. Good service, child seats, nice atmosphere - all in place when you would rather expect... Always looking for a place to eat which is good value, honest fare. This place is it. No frills, very reasonably priced and full of young office workers eating a bowl of pasta, big healthy salad or pizza. I'd eat here too if I worked nearby! Doesn't look much from out the front but don't let that dissuade you.

We had lunch here recommended by our concierge. Lots of choices including gluten free options for my wife. Friendly staff. More reasonable than most restaurants in the area.

This restaurant was recommended by the Uber driver who picked us up from the airport who said they had the best pizza. I then asked the hotel concierge for a recommendation and he also recommended it - so we could not miss it! The pizza was simply delicious as was the pasta and the beer - the best food I... More

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
