When in Italy I still find the need to earlier than most of my friends there. This restaurant was recommended by natives and I have found it wonderful. A true family restaurant with a flair. The early bird can order the squash blossoms and whatever other item is going to be in short supply. We will return in 2017 in... More

We were referred here by our hotel and having spent quite a long time in the culinary desert of Venice we were looking forward to a restaurant meal in a real city like Milan. Trattoria Meneghina was a good, but not otherwise remarkable, restaurant. Sure it has the authenticity of a family run restaurant and the waiter was disarmingly friendly... More

Wonderful family owned restaurant. Food was magnificent! Service was superb. The best food, service and atmosphere I experienced in my week long Italy trip. Pasta was amazing, very reasonable prices.

Went twice for dinner on the 14 and 15 of February 2017. First night we were looking for a restaurant close to the hotel. Dinner was amazing, trully traditional delicious food we were soo impressed that we went again the day after. Great service and chef was the mum of the owner, a lovely lady that kindly changed the dishes... More

Excellent inexpensive trattoria, with a selection of pastas and sandwitches. There seemed to be a lot of locals having lunch - no tourists like us. We were served by delightful grandma! Great experience!

We had New Year's dinner in this place. It was absolutely amazing! Local food, made by owners mother. Attention for clients, cozy place and reasonable prices.

We have been there for a business lunch from 1.30 to 4 in the afternoon. We drunk good Italian wine. From the starters to the desserts the food was so excellent and of home made quality.

My wife and I ate dinner at this restaurant and we were very pleased with the experience. The food is good quality traditional style and the service we experienced was friendly and efficient. We drank a Valtellina red wine suggested by our waiter which went well with the food and was not over expensive. All in all this was a... More

This cozy place in the heart of MIlan is a Trattoria in the true sense of the term. The owner has a taste for wine and some dishes deserve a mention, like the Parmigiana di Melanzane "Meneghina style". excellent (and it's my favourite dish!)

One of the best soups I have had had! Country style soup of the day , turned out to be a vegetable minestrone of sorts. Delicious! Great wine, great place to relax and enjoy a very great lunch. The pastas for dinner looked great as well. Owner's mother is in the kitchen supervising the cooking. Also had a cheese and salumi... More
