We took lunch here which was excellent and a very good service. Nice local food, a tasty risotto and veal cutlet a la Milanese. And a Bill with no unpleasant surprises.

Very nice, local restaurant located in interesting district of Milano. Testy food in very good prices. Risotto, spaghetti, grilled chicken breast - tasted. And foccacia as a starter. Strongly recommended.

Tasty, and inexpensive pizzas, salads etc. a bit away from the crowds along the canals. Good choice in Naviglio

Good pizza for a good price. The food is OK, but needs better management at peak times - it looks like the service is bad when it's crowded. On a Saturday evening it was full and the staff was herding people around trying to get maximum occupancy so we were asked to switch tables TWICE! Later, the waiter "set" our... More

We were reaching Milan after Parma and I would like very much to taste this restaurant! Unfortunately, there was no easy parking and a strange young guy was talking on the phone outside the restaurant, so my husband asked me to leave the place. When I got out the owner told us to leave the car just outside and then... More

We found the place by accident but we liked it there. Pizzas and huge salads for just 6 euro, very good place just few minutes of walk from the canals. Only 4/5 because staff in general is not very proficient in english and also the toilets were less than average you would expect from a restaurant.

Went here as we were staying above he restaurant and a thunderstorm prevented walking far. Looks basic from the outside but once inside the decor is really nice, looks very old fashioned and traditional. Staff are friendly and as it was fairly quiet during the day they were very attentive to ensure we were enjoying it As first time in... More

We stumbled in off of our road trip into Milan, not giving any thought to the timing of our arrival. All we knew was we were hungry! The place was empty, and we didn't realize until later that it was because we walked in during siesta. But the gentlemen in the restaurant didn't hesitate to provide us with a perfectly... More

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
