First impression was not that bad but after having dinner I must say that it is not worth it to eat here at all. Some friends told me that 10 years ago the place had delicious food when the previous owner was still around but the...new one is horrible, very arrogant and low profile. We complained about the quality of the food also because one of us found a huge dead fly in the plate and the owner just shouted at us although her English was poorer than the way she looked. It was a terrible experience. The place is not Italian either because she is from Africa.Guys, you better go somewhere else and help the real Italians especially now!More

The location is great, it’s very close to the center and the prices are okay. They have vegan options and the staff is friendly.

Charged 2.20 Euro as a cover charge - no water or bread (I would understand if I had that) but to charge just to sit and have a meal at 24.00 Euro and hit a cover charge is robbery - no need!!!

Food was nice, I had Lasagna and my partner had the margarita pizza. When we (English couple) arrived it was rather quiet, a few other tables but we got sat far away from everyone else - almost like we were being segregated and the waiters...and waitresses had a bit of an attitude towards us, almost as if we had done something wrong. The food was nice though and considering its not too far from the Duomo where the prices can be extortionate we were content overall, had the customer service been better we would be talking 4* maybe even 5.More

The food is not bad - the place is very crowded during holiday season - mostly tourists The waiter was quite rude which is not common in Italy - he has probably enough from tourists but I don’t care I am there for holidays So...no tips - they get €2/person on the billMore

I visited this place on 09.12, and next day I could not imagine eating in any other place. And I came back. The only bad thing about this place is that you eat too much and then it’s kinda complicated to wonder around the streets....Good things: - cheap... really cheap - great, big pizza - great, big portion of risotto - it’s a must to ask for zucchini tempura - great deserts... we tried like all of them... literally, ALL deserts are amazing We were serves by a romanian guy, named Daniel, and I can only say one thing about him: 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 congrats man! If all employers would have employees like you, there would be more amazing places in the world :)More

Di Gennaro offers a great range of delicious, authentic Italian food from the different regions of the country. The pizza is also incredibly tasty! One of the best restaurants in the Duomo area and one of the only few in the region that is not...overpriced.More
