Incredible Ossobucco and Milanese risotto. Overpriced? Definitely. A bit of a tourist trap? Yes. But you will definitely leave satisfied, as the portions were very generous. I also had the Ravioli as a primi and the Zabaione freddo for dolci. Both were also excellent. I...left the restaurant feeling like I definitely overpaid but enjoyed every aspect of the meal. Would be 5 stars if not for the pricing.More

The place is old and it really wants you to know it (old yellow newspaper articles on the wall etc..) also the choice is limited to few dishes, but this is not the problem: who comes here is looking for famous risotto, costoletta or zabaione....The outcome? Ok food, nothing to be remembered for, aside the price which is easily 25-30% higher than similar places around it.More

This is as near as you will get in the centre of Milan to the authentic traditional Milanese trattoria experience. The interior is beautifully preserved and redolent of another era but the staff are friendly and efficient and the menu tempting. The food is good...but perhaps not outstanding, the ambiance provides the rest.More

This is not haute cuisine. It’s traditional Milanese fare cooked reasonably well. Risotto too salty for my taste, and tagliatelle too buttery. All a bit too rich and heavy, even the zabaglione was cloying. Quite expensive considering it’s simple cuisine. Service was fast (a bit...too fast) but friendly. Wouldn’t really recommend the place. It’s not exactly central either.More

I had a dinner on a week day evening . We had the most classical Milano dishes from the tradition Ossobuco, Risotto, Gnocchi with Gorgonzola blue Cheese. The service is excellent as the quality of the food is. Nice enviroment in the rooms. Many business...meetingsd aroundMore

If you are looking for an authentic trattoria milanese in Milan you must go to Antica Trattori della Pesa! We started with lardo di colonnata, Prosciutto di Parma then Tagluiatelle al Ragu', Cassoeula with Polenta, Costoletta alla Milanese and finishe with a delicious panettone with...crema pasticcera. Wine? Lambrusco Ceci, sparkling and dry! Service was excellent, a "MUST GO".More

We pretty much hired the whole restaurant out as we were a very large group and we all loved the authentic food and efficient service. I lost count of the number of dishes we were served but the saffron risotto and pasta were certainly the...two that stood out in flavour! Every course was delicious and plentiful. I would highly recommend this restaurant!More

If you are looking for some traditional Milanese fare, served in an old-style but comfortable setting, this is at least one of the places to go. Our risotto Milanese was as close to perfect as a layman could expect. My tripe dish was beautifully cooked,...and super tasty. My companions were more than happy with their oso buco and veal Milanese. A modestly priced bottle or two of Nebbiolo was the ideal accompaniment. Desserts? There are probably lots to tempt, but sadly, we had no room for any! Most definitely a place to return to - but be sure to book in advance.More

This local restaurant is a real find. A terrific and helpful staff. The osibuco was incredible. Don’t miss this find.

We visited this restaurant with some Italian colleagues and it was really good. They have real local Milanese food, try the ossobuco with safran rice, just delicious
