Very nice Pizza and good service, after exploring the north for few days I must say the place was slightly expansive BUT again the Pizza was good,

Happened there by accident almost. Had a very good and reasonably priced meal. A good choice compared to the tourist traps of the area.

Frankly, nothing special. Food is standard, so is the interior/decoration. Service is nice. Prices the same as elsewhere.

Whilst wandering around town we happened upon this restaurant. It didn't look like much from the outside but the menu was interesting so we made our way inside. The ambience is nothing special at all, simple wooden tables in two different rooms - very rustic. We split a generously sized order of Bresaola as first course and had grilled fish... More

We ate here on the recommendation of our hosts at our B and B who did warn us that the service could be a bit brusque though we did not experience this. It was on a showery evening so we did not sit out in the tables on the square but took our chance under the outside awnings as there... More

1/4l house wine is priced € 3.50, but they charge € 4 for one glas of wine (of mediocre quality). € 6 for a dessert (not mentioned on menu card, so no chance to double-check) where a pizza is €7. The mushrooms (funghi) on the pizza were not fresh, they came from a tin and had a sour taste, as... More

my previous visit to Stresa was a day trip from Switzerland back in 1965. So I didn't remember too much about the place except for Isola Bella. Didn't realise it still had an old heart of narrow street off the lakeside boulevard. Explore this area & you will find a little square with outside tables from this restaurant. We had... More

We ate here on our first night having read about it on Trip advisor. We did not feel particularly adventurous after all the travelling. The starters were fine and we both settled for grilled bass which again was OK however the grilled vegetables were disappointing and certainly not worth the price. We had house wine as we felt that the... More

We had lunch in this plaza restaurant. A bit beyond the tourist area in a quant plaza. It is under an umbrella in the the plaza's center. There is also inside seating. We had a wonderful flavorful lunch and very reasonably priced. Well worth the three extra short blocks of walking to get there. We tried their minestrone soup, the... More

Had a marvellous meal here on our first night. Pasta was absolute perfection & as for the Tiramisu............I still dream about it! A popular restaurant so either book or get there early.
