Rocco e i Suoi Fratelli (Rocco and his brothers) is a wonderful, elegant and welcoming Sicilian restaurant in Rapallo right on the Lungomare. The beautifully prepared and ultra tasty food matches the decor, truly one of the highest quality restaurants in town. Going to Rocco's is such a treat, with homemade breads and eggplant capanata, and our favorite dish is their Pasta alla Norma. Cannoli are homemade and they taste as if you were in Palermo. Grazie Rocco for bringing such a wonderful dining experience to Rapallo.

Even though we were "late" The service was perfect. Main waiter or owner was really friendly! Grandmoms pasta was great choice and dark red wine they offered with food worked seamesly together. Thanks!

A recommendation from our guest house host, Rucco didn’t disappoint. Run by 3 brothers who take on different roles in the restaurant, the love and passion for what they are doing is clear in the food and service. I took the Aubergine roulade and tuna - beautiful!!

Pleasant experience to savor the flavors of Sicily in Rapallo. The restaurant is located in a great location on the seafront, courteous and helpful staff. We opted for the seafood menu consisting of starter, first, second and dessert at the fixed price of 50 €. The courses were very satisfactory both in quality and quantity, we paired them with a good still white; at the end of dinner we were offered limoncino by the owner. The staff always took care of us with courtesy and discretion.

Literally stumbled across this Sicilian accented restaurant after a walk along the coast. There are many restaurants as you approach the town from the west but we were a little late and these, hard on the SS1, were crowded, basking in the strong winter sun. “Rucco” is slightly set back and without even looking at the menu, looked just right. My wife & I were quickly seated and we were brought the menu along with a bottle of chilled water. The menu was VERY regional with a varied cast-list. Vegetables were everywhere (particularly eggplant) and the meat choice was less extensive than the fish. We shared a vegetable appetiser which had the taste of an eggplant parmigiana but considerably lighter served with grated ricotta. I followed this with ravioli filled with a light fish mousse served with shrimp and zucchini. The accompanying fish bisque was wonderful. We had a bottle of D’ Etna, a good flavoursome wine which partnered well. Coffee was preceded by two small granita, coffee and we departed when the restaurant was basically empty. Oh, I should mention also the fantastic selection of artisanal breads, served with a dense chutney as we waited for our order.

Restaurant in a very central position on the Rapallo promenade.
It is very close to the parking area. The place is welcoming and characteristic, the staff friendly and helpful. The friendly owner.
the menu is varied and tasty on a mainly Sicilian basis (with meat, not just fish) with some Ligurian dishes. The variety of wines is limited, but they have Grillo sfuso, which goes well with the menu.
You eat without a tablecloth, but on artistic ceramic tables like Caltagirone.
Overall we ate quite well, but a little "heavy".
The caponata and stuffed squid are particularly good.
Pasta alla Norma excessively drowned in sauce (to be tried again in aubergine season).
The final gem is the zabaglione made freshly at the table (very light and very spectacular) although personally I prefer it made with Marsala rather than passito.
The clothes still smelled of frying the next day, the ventilation of the place for the tables closest to the kitchen needs to be reviewed.
Takeaway food is also available.
Compared to the reviews we were a little disappointed. We expected more. But we will definitely try it again.

Good but expensive place to eat a simple pasta.
1 Pasta frutti di mare and 1 mixed vegetable sallad for 45 euros in total is by far overpriced which didn't feel right. The staff mixed our order, out of 4 dishes we got two wrong that we didn't order. But it was quickly fixed which was fine.

My dad and I went to this restaurant twice and we just loved it. Excellent food, service, environment and quality. On the first day we ordered the menu tasting the sea and no words on the quality of the dishes. It costs 50 euros per person but very well served, where you have the entry of dough, first dish a pasta with sword fish, second dish a tuna fillet with pistachio crust and dessert (canole or cassata) and toast a delicious and refreshing granite. Besides water with gas and house white wine. Note ten. I ⁇ indicate and I would come back.

Rapallo unfortunately only offers average tourist restaurant quality with this exception here.
If you really want to enjoy top Sicilian cuisine and not too bad is to spend a few euros more on really artisan best food and highest enjoyment is right here.
In addition to the actually very inexpensive 2 different tasting menus, the a la carte variations are also fully recommended.
Whether a pasta with sea urchin cream and crustacean carpaccio or a classic Padta Carbonara is just Italy at it’s best in every respect.
Here, only the freshest goods are processed and served with great attention to detail.
We were here for the second time today because almost all other restaurants are no alternative and even the comparison with the Italian at home around the corner can hardly hold.
The house wine, currently a Nero d’Avola from Sicily is also recommended and if there is still room for a dessert at the end, then definitely try the pistachio soufflee.
There is almost nothing better in my top 3 desserts worldwide.
Absolute Recommendation and the absolutely perfect and friendly service completes the dining experience.

Saturday at 19:30 we look for a place to dine on Trip Advisor, the best a few hundred meters is Rocco, I call by phone, they find me a place!
Nice table in the room with excellent pianist and grand piano, professional and very kind staff without being intrusive, very interesting menu. We take a sea tasting menu (50€) that we divided and in addition a plate of crudité (45€), in the end we were full (and we are people who eat) and very satisfied. As soon as we arrived basket of focaccia, pizza and bread all homemade and caponata (just divine), we could have had enough of even just those because they were delicious! Pasta, tuna. desserts, all delicious, all fresh, top ingredients, perfect service times without waiting, but also without having the unpleasant impression that they wanted to kick us out to clear the table (despite it was all full). They also offered us a delicious mango granita. What about: there is nothing to improve, keep it up!! I don't write these things because I know them or anything, we were really treated very well and enjoyed delicious dishes.
ps. We were in Rapallo for Rapalloonia, I have the photo and autograph of Dan Rosa!! B-)

We ordered mixed seafood appetizer, and it was so fresh that the shrimps were really sweet. The different sauces that came with the seafood added an additional layer of flavor to the fish. So interesting. The pasta and octopus were both excellent. Service was spot on. All in all, a great experience. The restaurant is not big, so make a reservation.

Weekend in Rapallo with friends, we went to eat in this Sicilian restaurant, tables and very beautiful and characteristic locations.
Dinner with a bang: caponata served with delicious bread, focaccia and breadsticks while waiting for our dishes. Following: seafood starter with raw and cooked, arancina and eggplant rolls, all delicious. I had fish couscous, served with mixed grilled fish, amazing and very abundant.
At the end they serve a shot of Sicilian strawberry granita, we asked for an encore (they have different flavors: almond, lemon, etc.) and they did not charge us.
Average count of what we ate, deserves!

The food is good with some hits (octopus salad, pistachio cake) and some misses (stuffed calamari). The service is fast and courteous. You might want to specify that you want a table in the main dining room rather than the adjacent room. However, the food is a little pricey compared to other restaurants in the area.
Where I had an issue is with the wine. I ordered a bottle of Frappato that is normally around 15 euros retail and sold for 38 euros at this restaurant. I'm told that they are out of this wine but they will replace it with another. They charged me the 38 euros of the bottle I initially ordered for this new wine worth... 4.49 euros at retail!! That feels dishonest to me. I hope this was a mistake on their part and not a way to take advantage of a tourist. I'll never know...

We have tried to eat here on our previous two visits to Rapallo and never made a reservation therefore never got in! This time we got in, twice and loved it. Food is Sicilian and Ligurian, fresh, tasty and just a bit different, not the cheapest but certainly very good. We ordered wine from Sicily and both white and red were fantastic. We already look forward coming back here and enjoying this charming place! Highly recommended.

We arrived at Landhandleriet in Langesund on Saturday morning. We were supposed to have lunch here. A special room with different pieces of furniture from each parish makes it a little fun. When we ordered food, everything was wrapped in plastic. We ordered two croissants with cheese and ham and a cup of coffee. Little service from the host. But we were now able to sit down and taste the croissants. It seemed like they were from the day before, soft and tasteless. We were asked if it was today's croissants, and we got an affirmative yes. This is not how croissants should taste, it was simply not good. But they sold fresh home-baked bread, so a slice of bread with cheese and ham would have been better. Here they have great potential for improvement, all the food was in plastic and in the fridge. The place can be suitable for a cup of coffee. The food was not worth the money this time.
