The food is delicious - recommend the pappardelle portofino & the sogliole. The owner is lovely & the staff is attentive, polite & not overbearing. We also managed to eat outside in april thanks to the heating vents. Awesome!

Well known restaurants often do not live up to their reputation but that is not the case here. The food was excellent, and service was excellent. Professional but not pretentious with the owners coming to make sure that you enjoyed the meal. The fish was fresh out of the sea and shown to you before preparation and serving. Delicately prepared... More

Food is good, service as always professional and reasonable prices for this town. Good location and friendly staff.

Really typical Italian charm, constant desire to please both our meals were very tasty and the wine was as you'd expect lovely. Not cheap or large portions but the meal was a lovely experience.

Simply the best restaurant on the piazza with the best location, cuisine, service and atmosphere. A charming couple of the owners have been serving their customers as their family for probably half a century. I have never had a tastier and better cooked spaghetti al vongole in my life and fish baked in salt reminded me one baked in heavens.... More

We set out on a day trip from Milan, took the train into SML and walked the 5K to Portofino. Most hotels/restaurants are closed this time of year, but the walk was well worth it. The waterfront view with few tourists was quite nice. The pasta Portofino (a tomato-pesto sauce) was excellent as was the veal option. The wine options... More

There is no denying that the food at Puny is excellent. In fact the night that we ate there, the Barefoot Contessa was at a table next to us. However, we felt ripped off. Firstly, we ordered 3 bottles of Gavi wine... at 28 Euros on the menu. We didn't realize until the next morning (after the 3 bottles had... More

Puny is famous for its pesto (tomato pesto) sauce. Fabulous! It is always crowded and you need a reservation.

The restaurant offers very good service and great, delicious food. "Papardele portofino" is its specialty. Prices are somewhat high, however. The dishes range from 20-30 euro. Worth a try.
