There are two dishes for vegetarians on the menu, even though before entering we were assured they had several vegetarian options. I took the eggplant with cheese, which was just that, a whole eggplant in thick slices, unseasoned, stacked and topped with tasteless, grease-dripping cheese. I was unable to even eat half. I know I couldn't have fared better with... More

Good, tasty, basic Italian food - served with friendly attitude. Fresh ingredients and large menu, a lot to choose from. We had lovely, long lunch enjoying every minute of it. A lot of locals, too, which is always a good recommendation.

We ate at this restaurant on our first night at Trieste. It was lively and a few Italians were eating there, so it usually is a good indication that it is not specifically geared to foreign tourists. We had a antipasti to share and sea risotto. It was delicious. The staff was very friendly and spoke enough English. The restaurant... More

My wife and I walked around Trieste for a little while on a Sunday evening looking for a restaurant to eat at and choose Le Botti as it appeared to be full of locals and had a nice menu. We started with antipasti and followed this with the seafood risotto with prawns, saffron and burrata. The portions were ample for... More

My rating for this establishment is based entirely on the rudeness dished out to my friends and I by the "male" behind the bar. He may have been the owner, the manager or simply bar staff but, without going into detail about the context, he could do with some basic training in good manners. We popped into this busy, crowded... More

Located in a touristic area, the atmosphere is excellent. This restaurant offers a great variety of pasta, meat and sea food. Originally, it was suggested by a friend and it did not disappoint! People in charge of the service were very friendly all the time, explaining us about what they had. Truly recommended!

Very busy; lots of people. Good food and service. We had dinner, relaxed and watched people walk by. We went a second time for drinks and snacks. We would go back again.

This place was suggested by a friend and it did not disappoint! The fettuccine Monte Vulcano were out of this world!! Service was great too. Will definitely come back and recommend it to others!
