This was recommended by our B&B and it was great. The eggplant parm was a good starter. My wife had the best grilled veal we had in Italy while I had the spinach ravioli filled with cheese and parma ham.

Recommended by a local this proved to be a perfect local trattoria. Really nice staff and nothing was too much trouble for them. We were a party of six and we felt really well looked after. Lovely food, good prices and even the house wines were good. Food is important in Bologna and you can't go wrong with this trattoria.... More

A really lovely dining experience in an intimate and authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of Bologna. Food was delicious, house white wine excellent, and the breads were extremely tasty. The waitress was charming and very friendly, as was Signor Giampi!! The free limoncello was a lovely gesture. I very highly recommend this charming restaurant.

Typical italian trattoria with great food and super friendly owner and staff. Must be difficult to keep the good mood especially when growdy and full of tourists. But they do and you get on top good pasta - try the tortellini. Also here the house wine could be better but if you don't like take one of the value for... More

A local friend took us to lunch at this very traditional, and quite good, trattoria. Tucked away under an arcade, this place was the real deal, complete with red-checked tablecloths and the owner-chef’s warm greetings to regulars. I had an excellent tagiatelle ragu, and my husband had a tasty veal cutlet bolognaise. Our hostess and another friend each had grilled... More

Very decent food; the ragu was excellent. 'Unusual' house fizzy red wine, yes fizzy red wine. Only problem was the lack of any choice in wine at all. Only local wine by the carafe. Service and atmosphere very friendly :)

During a city walk with visits , with appetite we accidently hit this small local restaurant . Very friendly owners, homemade Bread , local food and tasty wine. Very good price , a place where lots of locals meet and feed....next to THE University and only a few steps from THE basilica.

I found this small trattoria when I was walking around looking for something traditional and not expensive, for a simple dinner on a Monday... It was a good choice !! I tried the "tagliatelline verdi con ragu di prosciutto" (small green tagliatelle with ham ragout), with a 1/4 litre of "Sangiovese" (local red wine), and an espresso coffee. All for... More
