Last minute decision for Valentine's Day that really stood out and made for a wonderful night. The service was very good and attentive without being annoying. The atmosphere was a nice cross of modern, intimate and warm that was very comfortable and inviting. The fixed special for the night was a perfect combo of flavors and portions that were perfect... Excellent food, perfect wines, great atmosphere and very polite service with knowledge of few European languages. Hidden under the street, like in some basement, but really nice decorated (Italians always have a good sense for it) and clean, even with a special smoking area. We've been there twice and always pleased.

The waitress we had was quite a linguist. I heard her speak English, Italian, French and German. I really liked this place.

We were initially attracted by the outside seating which looked good but was very busy, so we were pleasantly surprised to see the area downstairs which was comfortable and less busy. The menu is interesting, the food very good and the service was excellent. Prices were reasonable too.

Was here during a bussines trip in the area. A walk treu town looking for a nice resteaurant. Had a fantastic cheese platter, and seafood macaroni! Just great! Recommend to everyone!

Ok, I wasn't expecting anything special, thinking it was the usual tourist trap in the city centre, but the setting outside was beautiful and we were hungry so we decided to stop here. We ordered starters and pasta which were Ok, nothing exceptional but good enough...the problem were the pizzas, which resembled those frozen American Pizzas, terrible! so, if you... More

Hello Mr. Giulianesi, We're really sorry about your feedback, especially about the pizza. We make our dough, just with sourdough, and each individual leavening takes 72 hours. Try to image what kind of job there is behind. Anyway is possible you don't like it, but usually our guest never are disappointed about the pizza. Thanks for all the rest, and... More

The outdoor seating is located in a peaceful square opposite a lovely church. However, although the service was quick the food was disappointing. The gnocchi was store bought which was a little disappointing and the prices are above average compared to other better restaurants in the area.

Some really mixed reviews on here, makes me wonder what people expect from a restaurant 2 minutes from the main tourist attraction in any city. They are never going to be the most fabulous restaurants in the world. But, as tourist restaurants go this has everything you need: location, buzz and views, 'authentic' bolognese atmosphere, efficient - if not over... More

We arrived quite early for dinner (around 8 pm) and ordered the pizza al tegamino. This is a very old speciality that was exported to the US to become the pan pizza. Good taste, but it is a filling dish. To go with it we had a very good bottle of Umberto Cesari wine (from the region). Service was good... More
