We are in Bologna and wanted to try an original Lasagna à Bolognese. Unfortunatelly we were surprised with a small lasagna, regular taste, nothing special, it was even a bit cold inside... Disappointing!

Had dinner here on a recent trip to Bologna. Enjoyed a couple of pasta dishes with wine in an atmospheric part of the market area. Good service and very reasonably priced.
Ate here a couple of times. My wife thought their caffee machiato and apple cake the best she had on our trip. I tried the tagliatelle ragu one day and it was just OK, nothing remarkable. Their bruschetta and cold plates were a much better...option especially when accompanied by a glass ( or two) of the sangiovese tre rocche at 6 euros a glass. Service generally very friendly and crisp. Brunched there three times in the week we were in Bologna.More
We made a special stop in Bologna on our way from Cinque Terra to Venice. We weren't going to be able to spend a lot of time there but we wanted to get a taste of the city and try out some of the local...cuisine. We got a great spot at the del Mercato and had a great meal. I had the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese and my wife had the Lasagne. Both were deliscious!!More
Situated on a cute little street with a few other restaurants, on our last night in Bologna having eaten at two outstanding restaurants on the other evenings we were enticed by the full tables and buzzing atmosphere with Italians enjoying plates of antipasti, so when...one couple finished and left, we pounced at the free table. We made the mistake of ordering the mixed meats for two - the order for one would have been plenty. That was fine. I'd spent the weekend reminding my partner that there was no such thing as Bolognese sauce and yet I temporarily lost my mind and ordered a plate of Tagliatelle alla Bolognese. It was horrible. Overly salty and slightly sour, I think it was starting to go off. We were already full from the meats which was just as well because I hate leaving food but it was really not nice and we left most of it. The signs were obvious but I missed them. No one else was eating mains/pasta, the menu list was huge and a sure sign of lack of quality. Our waiter was very attentive throughout and looked genuinely hurt that we had left it, but it was horrible. If all you want is some sliced meat, cheese, bread and wine, this place is fine. Otherwise: avoid.More
We ate here a couple of times during our stay in Bologna and the food and service were very good each time. There are tables inside and outside although the internal space is a little cramped for comfort. The food is uncomplicated and delicious and...very reasonably priced. Seems popular with visitors and locals alike !More
Attended here for lunch and was thoroughly disappointed with the quality of food. The lasagne appeared to have just been reheated. Service was abysmal. Definite tourist trap.
Great little cafe offering a wide selection of food. At a reasonable rate.Good wine and beer selection. Mixed charcuterie was the best dish for us.
Wow, what a great place! Service is attentive, rapid and friendly. Seating is cosy but all was well after a little friendly international banter. The tagliatelli al funghi was the best thing I ate in five days in Bologna - superb. Food is very good...and portions are generous - beware the enormous platters of meat and cheese for starters. On our second visit the waitress from our first visit was eating there with friends and family - now that is a recommendation.More
Going to this "establishment" was the likely the worst place I've been to eat outside of motorway service stations. The waiter looked like he was zoned out on something or other, and forgot our order for about 45 minutes, then returned to say it would...be delayed by another 20 minutes. After all that he offered us a round of drinks on the house, but proceeded to then charge us for them afterwards. An all around terrible dining experience, you are much better off going to the infinitely better restaurants on the same street. Shockingly poor service, take your money and go (a short distance) elsewhere and avoid this kip.More
