The Alice flavor is AMAZING! It is a specialty flavor. It is a marscapone flavor ice cream with a scoop of liquid Nutella like chocolate poured into the bottom of the cup. I had mine with raspberry and the husband got the chocolate gelato with chocolate cake specialty flavor. Was ready to go back into the long, but fast moving... More

Stopped in because we saw the crowds and truly the best one in Bologna as we ate at 3 other different gelateria. Here you can get sorbetta and creamy gelato for the best of both worlds.

Living in Bologna I am spoiled by Gelato places. This however is my favorite. Don't be put off by the line as it moves quickly. In the summer they have the most fantastic granita. Homemade fresh fruit on the premise. It's truly fantastic. I recommend the granita with Gelato on top! The best of both worlds.

A friend recommended this place for trying unusual flavours of gelato/ I ended up choosing Ciocolato e Rhum, which was the best ice cream I have ever had. Would definitely go back at first opportunity

I visited it today afternoon. I was surprised to see long queue in front of it. I was wondering if it really worth waiting so long for it. I was in queue for 20min but it was worth every single second. Amazing staff and delicious ice-cream

Lovely gelato. Best I've ever had. Lady was very helpful as the menu is in Italian so we didn't have a clue! Some lovely 'speciality' flavours. Bit of a queue outside and was in two minds whether to bother but it goes down in no time and is well worth the short wait.

Who knew there was a trick to eating the chocolate filled cones? Well for one she did. Don't bite into them until you've eaten most of the ice cream and chocolate otherwise it pretty much implodes and looks like you have been to an extremely niche sex club. Did she tell me? No. Delicious ice cream. Mostly all around my... More

We found the Gelateria via TripAdvisor. The ice cream was very tasteful. If you go there you have to try the chocolate cake ice cream. Quite a bit rhum in it but very delicious...

We were living in Bologna for the month of March (our first visit was in for the summer of 1996) and we revisited some of our favorite ice-cream shops and then some of the newer ones. This shop deserves its reputation. We went after dinner and took our cups out to sit in Park Cavour. It deserves its reputation.
