In country where all ice creams are delicious is hard to find really awesome gelateria. Quality, taste, fresh sorbets and butter-like chocolate are one of the brightest gems among very best dolci in Italy.

Lovely little spot for gelato, lots of fantastic flavours, friendly service and delicious coffee. We stopped here a few times, both after dinner and to cool off on a warm afternoon

Very good ice cream ,lots of tastes, they also have sorbet. I am not a big fan of ice cream ( my friends are an they dragged me here every night after dinner to have dessert), so i've asked for sorbet instead of ice cream and it's possible, my favourite: tropical fruits! We went there every night!

They have seasonal fruit tastes as well and he pear with cinnamon here was so good that I don't remember ever eating a better ice cream. Also, local friends suggested that I should go there, this is not a tourist trap but a place appreciated by locals.

Castiglione offers some of the best gelato in Bologna - excellent flavors from the familiar (fruits, yogurt) to local combinations featuring nuts. Be careful if you're allergic to nuts or eggs - many of the flavors appear to include these, and the menu is Italian-only.

This place had just opened when we first visited Bologna in 1996 and all our friends said it was not to be missed. Needless to say, they were on the mark. It remains, according to our taste buds, Number One, and the crowds all the time bear witness to the fact. You can get coffee or tea and some pastries,... More

We were in Italy for 5 weeks and traveled all over - and THIS was the best gelato we had! I think we went there 3 or 4 times and it was way on the other side of town from our apartment. Track it down and go!

You can get probably one of the best ice creams in Italy in this lovely patisserie, which is located at about 10 minutes walking distance from the Bologna's main square, Piazza Maggiore. Amazing taste, friendly staff at reasonable prices.
