Our tour guide recommended this amazing jewel of a restaurant! We almost left as the restaurant was quiet and only had a few locals.. Once we realized it was a Monday evening and early, we decided to stay. Great decision on our part as the meal was amazing. Our waiter suggested a sampler of traditional dishes which were all amazing.... More

I never go to Rome without having AT LEAST one lengthy dinner in this splendid restaurant. It embodies all that is best in Italian dining. Located just steps from the Spanish Steps, off the Via Del Corso, in the throbbing heart of Rome, it is a perfect spot for a perfect meal amid knowing tourists, Italian politicians and movie personalities.... Nice little restaurant tucked away along via della vite. Took us a while to find from hotel recommendations and was faced with a closed door. We persisted and just went in anyway to a nice cosy dinning area. The food is decent and reasonably priced. Helpful staff with a nice atmosphere for dinner outing. Worth a go!

After avoiding the street hawkers trying flag us into various restaurants, we were pleasantly surprised to come across this little gem. It was cool, quiet and uncluttered. Our waiter was full of energy and very attentive to our needs. Food was delicious. Homemade ice cream had kids asking for a second serving.

Walked into this restaurant and should have turned around and walked out. But we persisted and that was our regret. Service was average and disinterested. Order our main meals snd s bottle of wine. The suckling pork was tender but tasteless and the crackling soft and awful. The pasta amatriciana was gluggy and over cooked and burnt. Could not wait... More

The Restaurant is quite quaint, it is clean, comfortable, with the typical Italian ambiance. The food was excellent along with out Standing Service. The Staff cares about their clients and the show it. When you arrive ask for Marcello, he is Nice Funny and will show you what Rome is all about. You'll not only enjoy the food the staff....Its just... More

Our friends in Yonkers recommended this restaurant. It was a very pleasurable experience. We were greeted warmly and served efficiently. The food was absolutely delicious!! Mozzarella was so fresh and the pasta was cooked perfect and very tasty. The dessert was exceptional and the price was reasonable. We were very happy!

We popped into this restaurant which was just around the corner from our hotel for a quick lunch. Traditional Italian food and decor, quiet atmosphere, and cool. We had a simple pasta dish each plus sautéd green chicory, all good. Price reasonable, pleasant service. We ate there 4th July.

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
