We know nothing about the place but only came across this place because we were on a lunch break and seeking shelter from the rain. This was the first thing we found just steps away from via Condotti! But to my surprise it was worth it. My carbonara was deliciously creamy! Scrape off every last crop of that sauce from... More

I was in Rome with friends and one of the guys recommended this place so we all decided to give it a try. The waiter, Shaved head and Soul Patch beard, had perfect english seemed friendly and helpful at first, then we ordered wine when any choice with a cheaper (€20-22) price tag was "not good"....he was very pushy and... We stopped here because it looked inviting from the outside and although a bit pricey we thought we would treat ourselves as it was our wedding anniversary. The food was average and portions very small. The service sloppy and not what one would expect in an expensive restaurant. I left feeling disappointed as it was the worst meal we have... More

You would think it's a warm family restaurant ... but the reality is very disappointing !! The service is pushy, great titles on the menu but the food is bad, no flavor. Don't go, there are plenty of places in Rome where you will be served authentic good food by warm and passionated persons. Moreover , "le sorelle" have given... More

Hiden fees, bad food, tasteless food, bad service (which are included in the invoice like 2 euros per persson and plus 10% added to the total price)!!! Bad expirience! This restaurant stealing tourists! Avoid!!!

I am so glad we went here! Food was amazing - best meal I had in Rome and the staff were so lovely. It made the whole night so happy and warm - loved every minute of it!

We were walking through the streets and stopped at this nice cozy restaurant. The food was OK, the pasta very al dente but on the whole it is a good restaurant

I am writing this review so late as out of curiosity I wanted to see what the reviews for this nice little restaurant were like. I chose it as it had nobody outside cajoling me to come in. I was on my own as in Rome for work. I told the waitress - probably co-owner - that I only had... More

I did not appreciate the rude brusk waiter who missed his finishing school module...but even with his classless manner he had a certain charm in this elegant oasis next to the Via Condoti...I did the €50 fixed menu, what a deal..even with the coperto and service add on..superb Rosè, Cantina del Notaio "ROGITO"...although I had ordered the supreme white of... On a recent trip to Italy which we were finishing off in Rome, we decided to walk about in the Spanish Steps area to look for a restaurant, sometimes the review sites miss some places (we have been to Rome multiple times). We happened on this restaurant........what a find. Small, quaint but great food and very pleasant waitress and owner.... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
