Excellent pasta, delightful agnello al forno or capretto; it really was a very pleasant experience for an Easter lunch. Service perfect and very friendly , I will certainly come back another time.

We came here twice is one week, the second because of how amazing the first time was. The staff is over-the-top friendly and took excellent care of our very large party. the second time was for my mom's birthday party. They let us come early and put out special decorations, and were cool with us bringing our own cake. Their... More

Went with my family after being recommended by the hotel. People were friendly but the food was average for Rome. Did the hard sell on fish, got our starters wrong (very average caprese ), calamari fried in oil that tasted old. We looked forward to the pasts but sadly it was again very average. Nice people but average food.

I visited Ambasciata d'Abruzzo a few weeks ago, as part of a large group, that included, English, Spanish, French and Italians, and even though we numbered more than 20, we ate incredibly well. Because our group was so large, we all agreed with the staff that they should bring us a selection of antipasti, which included a great combination of... More

A business acquaintance brought us here, quite sure we could eat at any time. While he and his colleague recounted the excellent antipasti and fish they had eaten, the waiter couldn't get rid of us fast enough. We were allowed "3 things from the antipasti counter", and as we ate they started to turn out the lights. We ate our... More

Very charming waiters but we were not wowed by the food. We have had better Italian in New York, Boston, or Providence. Sorry to burst anyone's bubble but because of the reviews here we decided to go so I feel it's only fair to caution others on this site.

We stayed in a villa steps away from the restaurant and was recommended highly by our AirBnB host. We absolutely loved the food and couldn't have had a better waiter! Sandro gave us the best service and the warmest welcome to Italy. The food was amazing! We visited several time through the course of our visit - nothing compared.

I recently had a flying visit to Rome (no pun intended) arriving from Alicante in Spain to Fiumcino Rome before travelling to Milan by train. I arrived at 18:30 in Rome, had a meeting for a couple of hours and then my friend Vincenzo who used to frequent this restaurant many years ago as a student at the university suggested... More

We ate here just because it was the closest to the Ritz hotel after arriving from the airport. And what a great choice we made! We honestly couldn't have picked a more perfect venue. Genuinely blown away by the standard of food & service. FANTASTICO!

Thank Kris H

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
