This restaurant was suggested by one of our tour guides. I was not impressed and as a matter of fact one of our 3 meals was not very good at all and they did not offer anything else or to take it off the bill. Service was good and the place had a nice old world feel dinning room.

We asked a friend from Rome to recommend some restaurants for our trip to Rome. We booked this for a group of 10. I had the carciofi alla giudia and really enjoyed it. I followed that with the oxtail. The meat was succulent and very tasty. I went with the waiter's recommendation of puntarella as a side dish, an unusual... More

We came recommended at Piperno, that was fully booked. The food was sensational, prices were very fair, the ambience, food and wine were spectacular. Try Carciofi alla Giudia (artichokes the jewish way) for a wonderful discovery!!!

We came to this place following a recommendation, second dishes were excellent, we ordered pork and ossobuco both options were a success. It was a working day so place was not crowded. Service was excellent.

The Jewish Ghetto was established around the mid 1500's and was home to the Jewish population of Rome at the time. Today, no longer the ghetto it once was, it retains the name and is filled with restaurants and shops and history that has to be experienced. It is by far the go to place for many who seek true... Very charming restaurant recommended by a friend who lived in Rome a few years ago. I wasn't disappointed! Menu had lots of interesting choices, the service was good and the pasta was delicious! The prices were reasonable, too. I recommend and would certainly return!

So this restaurant was recommended from an old friend who lives in Rome. Waiters were very friendly and able to explain very well the composition of every meal offered. We had artichoke and fried pumpkin flower with mozzarella inside. We had one each of both. Excellent. Then I ordered tagliatellewith fresh porcini mushrooms. Superb! The mushrooms were excellent and fresh.... More

Fiore di zucca ripieno fried squash blossoms with mozzarella and anchovies. One simple zucca, the batter was crisp and light but the cheese disappointing. Abbaccio al forno con patate. Roast lamb and a side salad, the salad was simple and the lamb tender. Glass of house red which was fine. Large menu with a wide selection of pasta as well... More

This was an incredible meal at a fantastic restaurant which our B&B host recommended as really authentic roman food. You have to try the Artichoke, and the zuccini and mozarella in batter. Amatriciana, truffle gnocci and the garlic and rosemary potatoes were heaven on a plate. Lovely atmosphere in this first floor restaurant off a quiet cobbled street and the... More

We went there after reading online recommendations. What a disappointment… Wasting a precious evening in Rome on such a low level restaurant. The service was not good. The starters were adequate (stuffed Zucchini and Artichoke) . Then we shared the Tagliolini al limone which was the only plus point for the meal. For main we ordered Sweetbreads and Calamari. Both...
