Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Good food but felt unwelcome and was treated like something the cat dragged in off the street. Didn't like the fact that they were hovering around me like they wanted me to finish my food and leave quickly. They weren't helpful with ordering any wine,...in fact they were intentionally obtuse.More

We walked here after our visit to Vatican City and it was well worth it. Lovely place inside, friendly staff and great vegan choices. The pasta was delicious and fresh.

Little/cute vegan restaurant with friendly staff and good atmosphere. Good food and good choice of wines. Indoor and outdoor seatings. Not easy parking. Average prices.

Really fantastic! The pastas have the best vegan sauces I’ve ever had. The waiters were very attentive and helpful and the food was delicious

Good restaurant with quirky decor. Extensive menu, except for desserts. And good service. Not fine dining but good value, tasty and authentic Italian food. If you need a vegan fix make the journey out of town. Oh, and great wine and vermouth list too.

This authentic vegan Italian restaurant is outside the touristy centre of Rome but worth travelling to. Take the Metro to Lepanto and then a 10 minute walk. We enjoyed the food (first course pasta AND second course main of course) and wine but then the...real star of the show came out… the cutest little resident dog wandered the restaurant greeting the guests! Even though this was the evening, there were families and couples all having a wonderful night. There is a large window for the kitchen where you can see the chefs working while you dine.More

Just disappointing... Despite very good reviews and being recommended we got very unlucky. Overprized and a very overwhelmed staff that forgot our food even though we were the only guests in the restaurant.

This restaurant is the perfect place to dine. Cozy, casual, delicious and tasty menu to satisfy any palate or craving. It has a lovely atmosphere great for a date, or catch up with friends, having a family meal with kids, or even a business lunch....Whenever we are here we are really keen to try new and different dishes on the menu! We always leave Ma Va'? super satisfied and happy :) Highly recommend and will definitely be back again. What more can you ask for? Fresh, tasty food, beautiful restaurant, great prices, oh, and the staff are super friendly the resident doggie is a sweetheart.More

It was pouring with rain and we stumbled on this restaurant, just around the corner from the convent where we were staying. We visited it three times for dinner in our four day stay in Rome? Amazing welcome, small menu, fantastic cooking and good wine....Huge portions which you can share if you wish. It’s always busy so do book ahead if you aren’t going to eat as soon as the door opens. Diners are mostly Italian who are in the know! When next back in Rome, I will be back!More

An all vegan restaurant, wonderful food and atmosphere (quite little place in the middle of the neighborhood). Every dish we ordered was not only incredible, but authentically Italian. Recommended not only for the taste of the food, but the service and the fair pricing. A...must for vegans in Rome!More

We didn't expect to find a vegan/vegetarian restaurant in the unpretentious area (near Piazza Bainsizza) where we spend a week every autumn. We did, at the end of this year's visit), and recommend it highly. My companion had a salad, and I enjoyed oriechette in...a tomato based sauce. The establishment was pleasantly busy at the time of our lunchtime visit, the patrons being all locals as far as we could tell. We'll certainly return next year.More

Visited here with my daughter who is vegetarian. I'm not vegetarian however ate some amazing food here, possibly the best on our trip to Italy. The restaurant is small, clean and the waitress was very friendly and helpful. There is also a resident dog who...was rather cute. The menu had a very good selection and the portions were big, very filling. My favourite was the ginger pasta which I am going to try and recreate at home!More

I went here with my mum for a girly meal out, on our first night in Rome. The place is really fresh and great decor. There is a gorgeous resident dog there who is very cute and friendly! Best of all the food is delicious!...It was some of the best we had in Rome. Well worth a visit whether you are vegetarian or not. I would recommend the ginger pasta (my mum’s favourite dish of the entire trip!), and also the breaded mushrooms... soo tasty!! We both would definitely go back here next time we are in Rome :-)More

Our tram broke down tram meaning we had to yomp for a stretch to get to 'Ma Va?', but it was well worth the effort for the best food we found anywhere in Rome during our holiday. The menu was completely vegan including the beer...and wine, the food was excellent, the portions generous and the service friendly and attentive. Our waitress was so pleasant and smiley and the restaurant's nervous little rescue dog was an absolute knock out. We will definitely return next time we visit Rome.More
